Christmas Cactus

My Christmas Cactus is blooming a little early this year.  I bought this cactus  a couple of years ago and it still  doing great.  I put them outside whenever it's summer time and bring them inside the house  during winter.

Caring for this kind of cactus is tricky because you can't underwater or overwater them.  Watering them  also  depends on the climate, whenever it is inside the house, you have to at least water it every week but when it is out, you have to at least water it two to three times a week.

I noticed mine is coming out in bud yesterday - I was a little worried that with moving it wouldn't flower this year (my Mums never has as she can't get the sun on it) but thankfully it looks like it will :D xx

Wow, a couple of years! I wish I had your green thumb. Plants don't last long around here, so I gave up. Your Christmas Cactus looks great, and makes me want to give it another try.

Never plant cactus before because I don't know how to take care of it. I am amazed how you nurtured yours.

Wow what a beautiful shade of red! My mom used to collect cacti but she threw them all away after learning that they make you unlucky. Looking back at it now we realize how stupid it was to do that. Haha!
