Piece of Property

We haven't given up on finding a property that would suit the need of our family so once in a while when we see a piece of land that we think is good, we drive  by  and see it with our own eyes.  This is one of the  properties that we looked at.  It's a bit of a drove but we love the big pond that we saw nearby it.

We founds a piece of land that we really liked but the price is too high for our budget.  We looked at it again online and it was sold already, we felt sad about it but we are no rush  in buying so maybe a good  one will still to come.

Choosing the Right Fencing Materials

People use all kinds of fencing materials to suit their specific needs, from decorative purposes all the way through to maximum security requirements. It’s important that the right materials are used for the correct purpose as not every type of fencing shares the same characteristics. For example, wooding fencing is unlikely to do the job when it comes to providing a safety barrier to the public at a construction site. Before investing in the appropriate fencing materials, it’s important that you note down their durability, sturdiness and their potential cost. Here are a few fencing materials that are used regularly today, most of which are unique to their specific purposes.
Security Fencing
The majority of sites that require maximum security such as department stores, banks and warehouses will be accompanied with steel security barriers or fencing. Steel fencing is extremely beneficial if you’re looking to keep intruders and vehicles away from a certain area as it’s a tough alloy that can’t be misshaped or damaged easily. You can also equip steel fencing with upgraded materials thanks to its strength, improving the intruder-resistant aspects of the fencing. On the other hand, steel can be costly and it’s not particularly attractive, whilst the installation process can be time consuming. Since steel fencing is permanent, you are far more likely to find it being used in places where security is maintained on a regular basis.

Wooden fencing is extremely popular as it’s regarded as the naturally attractive alternative to metallic home security.  It is also cheap and extremely easy to install, making it a one-off day job that is hardly time consuming. The efficiency of wooden fencing is often played down, yet it can be extremely effective at offering privacy and security benefits if the wood is thick and reasonably high. You can also paint, polish and alter wooden fencing to give it the ideal look and design that matches your style preferences. Unfortunately, wood doesn’t hold the same security effectiveness as other materials because of its durability. Wooden fencing can be easily damaged by both people and weather conditions and usually needs to be maintained by the owner. It is not particularly sturdy and is likely to rot over long periods of time without the proper care.

Aluminium fencing has become one of the most popular security fencing materials for a number of reasons. It may not be as tough or as rigid as steel but it is terrifically cost effective and still offers the durability that’s necessary for security purposes. Aluminium is light, making the transportation and installation of aluminium fencing an absolute breeze. It acts as the ideal material for separating crowded areas and bringing about organisation at large events. Aluminium is also corrosion resistant, meaning it can be left out overnight if being used to surround construction works. Aluminium does have its disadvantages tough they are few. It’s not as robust as other fencing alternatives and can be easily bent or misshaped as it is malleable. It is the ideal fencing option for security or safety purposes that are temporary but not for larger security operations.

Arts & Crafts for Thanksgiving

My kids made these arts/crafts for Thanksgiving.  First up is the mighty turkey as what Ms. Burrito described it.

She also made this baby turkey.

Mr. Burrito made this one.  He said it's a CROWN, I asked why it's a crown he said it is half between a crow and a  clown lol.

He also  made this hat.

Materials used are lunch bags, paper plate,  art papers, crayons, permanent marker and dried dead grass leaves.  What do you think?

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

Last Harvest

These were the  last goodies that I harvested from my garden before the frost came.  I put  some of the jalapeƱos in the freezer and I stuffed the  pepper with  home made sausage and it was delish!

Now that the  weather is  freezing, I am  enjoying the fruits of our labor during summer time.  It's comforting to use the  vegetable you have grown from your own garden.  I have lots and lots of  tomato sauce  and this would surely last until next summer.   I miss gardening!

How To Save Money Heating Your Office

When a business is looking to maximize profits, it is usual to reduce costs as a first resort. Heating bills for an office are often one of the largest the business will face, these four steps can help you reduce your heating bill immediately.

Close doors and keep unused offices locked up.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. The open door policy is great when it comes to talking with fellow workers, however it is the quickest way to lose the heat from your office. Heating the office and leaving a door open will allow all of your heat to escape. This applies with unused offices, as long as no-one is working from the room, why would you need to heat it. Therefore, keep all external doors closed and lock off any unused offices.

Turn down your hot water.

Most people are unaware that the office hot water system is linked into the heating system. Turning the hot water down by a few degrees could save you hundreds over the course of the year. Nobody fills up their coffee from a hot tap, so there is no need to have the hot water set at a boiling temperature. Set the hot water to come out at a warm temperature, perfect for washing hands.

Reduce you heat lose through the windows.

Every desk worker wants to get a work station by the window, or at the very least to be able to have a good view. The only downside to this, is that the same workers will be watching the majority of the office's heat disappearing through the windows. The large sheets of glass offer very little heat insulation. Double glazed windows do offer better protection from heat loss, but are not perfect.

A simple solution would be to insert blinds on all of the windows. The closed blind would trap the hot air within the office and provide a barrier for the cold air trying to come in through the window. If the windows are of a large area or it is not practical to hang blinds in the window location, an insulating window film can be used. This film is applied directly to the window and acts as a barrier to keep the heat within the building.

Maximize all your heating resources.

Modern server rooms often have air conditioning units which take the hot air out away from the large servers and pump this valuable commodity outside. Heat farming is the practice of taking this hot air and pumping it around the building to heat other areas. This can be retrofitted into any existing air conditioning unit and the cost of modification would soon be returned in the lower heating costs.

This same practice can be used to take heat out of other areas, primarily kitchens and gyms. The existing heat extraction units can be used to draw the heated air out of these hot rooms and direct it to be reused around the rest of the office.

These changes can make a huge impact on the balance sheet, not just on the air temperature in the office.

How to Weatherproof Windows

Your home is your castle and you should do everything in your power to make it warm, inviting and cosy. If your home feels cold and dank during winter, you should definitely be thinking about weatherproofing your windows. In fact, if you are capable of executing the task on your own, then quite a bit of money can be saved in the process. Today, with soaring energy bills and an uncertain economy, it makes sense to weatherproof your windows and save as much money as you can.

Here is how to weatherproof the windows. You also will need a few things, but spending on these items will keep you comfortable and worry-free during winter. Before you begin, have necessary weatherstripping tools, a hair dryer, tape, weatherproofing window plastic, and a utility knife within reach. You will certainly need these items during the process.

Preparing the Windows
In order to weatherproof the windows, you will first have to clean them thoroughly. Wash them from the inside as well as the outside; check each frame for damage. If the putty comes off or gets chipped, have it replaced. If the frames are degraded or decayed, or if the window panes are cracked, then they have to be disposed as well. Although a little time-consuming, you will be glad you made an effort to inspect each window and the necessary repairs. These efforts will certainly translate into considerable savings in the future.

Weatherstripping
The next step is weatherstripping the windows. Modern technology has advanced enough to ensure you can get access to self-sticking weatherstripping. Install the weatherstripping around the edge of the window, just where the window meets the walls. This will work as an insulation and prevent cold air enter your home from the outside. It also will avert hot air from within to escape outdoors. Remember, installing weatherstripping will prevent you from opening your windows. This may not be such a bad thing, as most people tend to keep their windows closed during winter and open them in spring. Be sure not to forget the windows in the basement and the loft.
Weatherproofing Windows
Finally, it is time to weatherproof the windows. This can be done with the help of a weatherproofing plastic, which can be bought from a hardware store. This plastic has to be installed onto the windows and if done correctly, it will keep your home nice and toasty during the cold winter months. Take the measurements of the window and cut the plastic slightly bigger than the necessary dimensions. Use a tape to fix this plastic onto the frame of the window. Now use the hair dryer to blow hot air onto the plastic. This will cause the plastic to shrink and become tight. Make sure that the plastic is firmly adhered to the tape and the window frame before using the hair dryer. Otherwise, it will come off when you blow in hot air. Follow this method for fixing the weatherproof plastic onto the windows around your home, including the basement and the loft. This will help keep your home warm and comfortable, regardless of how low the mercury dips outside.

Weatherproofing the windows is an essential task when preparing for winter. Although cumbersome, it is worth the time and the effort. Be sure not to reuse the plastic, though. When the spring season arrives, discard it properly and invest in a new weatherproofing plastic for the next winter. Do not see this as an additional expense. This should rather be viewed as an investment, as it will help you save money on your heating bills.

Beautiful Sky

Hello everyone, how's  your weekend?  We just got home .  We took our kids at the mall and let them play at laser tag.  It was snowing when we were driving home but it stop now. Anyway, I would like to share these  shots  I took one day on our way home from  visiting my FIL.

I posted these photos  in Facebook and a friend said that the sky  "looks like the sandy ocean bottom in the sky" and she was right, the sky reminds me of the  ocean shore  that was recently kissed by small waves.

Scarlet Haddington Soft Shell Jacket

The selection of scrubs nowadays is getting more and more  fashionable.  I was looking for some  comfortable  jacket online and one that popped up is this   beautiful Scarlet Haddington Soft Shell Jacket from  Blue Sky Scrubs.  I even like their  scrub hats selection.

A  friend of mine works at a hospital and their scrubs are really nice looking too.  I wonder where they buy theirs because they are  good looking.  My sister in law used to wear different designs when he used to work as a nurse at a hospital.  She is now retired though.

Christmas Wishlist Under the Tree

I previously work with AlliedShirts.com when they sent me a hoodied sweatshirt  for review at my Travels & Wandering. They contacted me again and asked if I could do another review on this blog .  Since I love the quality of their  product, I  agreed and  was sent this  personalized  shirt.  I used my children's photo in designing  the tee.  This is for my husband  but I did not show  him this yet, instead, I wrapped it and put it under the tree so  he could have a personalized  gift for Christmas from me.
I also wrapped some gifts for my two kids and when I was about to put it under our tree, saw their Christmas wishlist underneath it lol.

Hmmnnn, these kids are sneaky but I am glad that they did that so  hubby and I, I meant "Santa" can start  getting the ones that we  think they could use.

If you are looking for the  some great gift ideas this coming holidays, Allied Shirts recommends   BuildASign.com and Printcopia  for some  photo related  and printing products that you might be interested  in.  If you are planning to buy shirt for a team you should check them out as  designing your own shirts is as easy as one, tow, and three.  I had fun designing this shirt  that I got for my husband.  I am sure that he would love this!

Blogging Perks

save imageGlad to see that my earnings from one of the  network sites that I am affiliated with climbed up  to  three grand.  Publishing a total of 160 posts and getting paid  $3004, that  makes an average of  $18.78  per post which is not bad as they are all guest articles.  One of which is not paid yet so if I count that one in, the price per post is $18.90.  I like guest posts because I learned so much from the articles that other people wrote.  I learned it the easy way unlike  wracking my brain out learning a topic and writing it myself.  Blogging has a lot of  perks but it is also a hard work.  If you don't put  time and effort in  your blog, no advertiser will be interested in publishing ads in your blog.  I never expected that I would love blogging this much.  I started it out of boredom when we were in Korea as I did not know anyone there.  Now I came to love it like a real job.  Yep, I consider blogging as a job, do you?

How to Identify a Professional Photographer

There's no question that photography has come a long way in the past twenty years. Of course, this is true for photographers as well. In today's modern world of picture taking, everyone that owns a camera seems to thing that they are a professional photographer all of a sudden. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that simply is not true.

To be a professional photographer, one must posses a certain set of skills. You must be able to capture a breathtaking or thought provoking photo that no one else can. This can only be done by knowing both your equipment and the proper way to use it. Can you block out the sun or capture it in order to take the perfect picture? Anyone can take a picture, but it takes a true professional to know each specific camera, lighting and angle detail to be a true photographer. Luckily, there are certain attributes and characteristics that enable a normal person to tell the difference between a professional photographer and a casual picture taker.

The Shape of the Equipment
Although somewhat obvious, a photographer gets the most out of their equipment. If you see someone that looks like they have employed MacGyver to invent a contraption to hold their most expensive lens together, the chances are, that person is a professional. Seriously, think about it. Would a normal person hold on to their equipment until it couldn't be used anymore or would they simply buy a new, low end camera?

How Do You Use the Word Stock?
The word stock means the same thing to all different types of people except a professional photographer. If you put an athlete, lawyer, teacher, accountant and doctor in the same room, the chances are each person will use the word stock in reference to a stores' merchandise or about that market that also includes bonds. Coincidentally, if you put a handful of professional photographers in a room, the word stock would have a very different meaning.

The Appearance
1wb4zk9xntu94woeid7to1bxk14p5wur
For obvious reasons, a professional photographer is way more concerned with everyone else's appearance except their own. Don't get it wrong, a professional photographer is not a dirty person with bad hygiene. They just make a living on how other people look. That is their main concern. A messy haircut, sloppy clothes or 5:00 o'clock shadow is of no concern to a professional photography, they aren't the one that's in the picture. I'm sure that you would be surprised at how well they might clean up for a prospective client meeting though.

The Amount of Equipment
Casual photo takers will usually have a single camera and, maybe a flash extension. This is child's play compared to a professional photographer. Let's see, a large and small camera, five or more lenses, a tripod, flashes, memory card holders, a laptop and hard drive should just about cover it all. Yes, this is everything that a professional photographer will have with them at any given time. It's very possible that a pro will even have more equipment than this on hand.

Steel Mill in Weirton

Just some drive by shots along the Steel Mill road.  As I took the shots, my husband reminisced the time when the  Mill was on it's high peak.  He said that everything was  great in this town.

I wish that the Steel Mill company here in Weirton still operates.  I mean some part of it are still in business but not the whole thing.  According to what I read, the  company collapsed when  the union were asking too much and  the company could not afford to anymore.  I don't mind  having union in a company because it protects that  workers but when  they become greedy of asking too much stuff, it ruins the business then everyone  suffers.

I remember when I was still working, someone was establishing a union in school but the administrators  did not  allow it because they know that it would just cause problems.   They said that  if union will be pushed through that they would just close the school.  I am glad that it wasn't materialized.

3 Rooms You'll Love Having a Small Sofa

Conventionally, sofas belong in the main room where family members relax together in the evenings and at weekends. If the home has space for a den or family room for more informal activities, there could be a sofa there too. But on the whole, sofas have often been restricted to those two leisure areas.

These days though, people are mixing things up more, and sometimes the results work really well. A sofa imparts a feeling of comfort and ease to a room, and, if you have the space, then there are few rooms which don’t benefit from the homely touch of a small sofa. It’s true that a 3 seater sofa, elsewhere than in your main living room or family room, may make take up more room than you can spare, but a compact 2 seater will go almost anywhere.

Wherever it’s placed, it’s important that your sofa should be of really good quality and solid, like those from Made.com because one that’s made shoddily won’t last so long or look so good.

A sofa in the bedroom

It’s nice to have a comfortable place to sit down in the bedroom other than the bed itself. A two-seater sofa makes your bedroom feel like a space for more than just sleeping.

For example, maybe the kids have taken over the kitchen and living room, and you want some peace and quiet to read a book. If you feel like retreating to your bedroom, you don’t want to be confined to sitting or lying on your bed. If you can relax on a sofa in your bedroom, you won’t feel so hounded by the younger generation.

A sofa in the hallway

You’re waiting for your partner to be ready to leave the house. A sofa in the hallway means that you can do that without getting too impatient. For visitors to the house, a sofa in the hallway looks friendly and welcoming.

A sofa in the bathroom or dressing room

There’s a trend towards treating the bathroom as a space to be enjoyed, not just a utilitarian space for washing. There’s something very pleasant about a bathroom with a view and a spacious atmosphere. If you want your bathroom to feel like somewhere to unwind after a hard day, not just somewhere to wash, a sofa fits in really well. If the bathroom is too small, a sofa placed just outside can also work well.

Your partner can come in and sit on the sofa, drink in hand, and relax with you while you soak in the bath, and that makes life a bit less of a hassle and a bit more relaxed.

You can sit down while the kids enjoy their bath-time. You won’t need to be standing over them waiting for them to be ready to get out, and you will all be able to enjoy the interaction more if you have a comfortable place to sit.

And that’s the message really. Just about everything is better if you have a comfortable place to sit down.

Even if they aren’t much used, small sofas in unusual places around the house make for an atmosphere of generosity and welcome, which both visitors and the family can appreciate.

Fall Bushes

I love bushes that turns pink during Fall.  We have a barberry bush  by our driveway and  love it when the Fall comes as it turns yellow-orange first then turned pink to red  at the end.  Not to mention that when those leaves fell on the ground, the  red  berry-fruits are beautiful especially when the snow covers them.

We also  planted  burning bushes this year and they also turns red during Fall.

Our neighbor, has a beautiful tree that turn yellow to deep orange colors when Fall arrived..

Fall  season is beautiful when all the trees and  bushes  still has the leaves on but when the leaves  starts to fall on the ground, the mountain looks  dead.

How To Achieve A Successful Construction Project

Parking Lots
Building is a complex procedure. Difference of opinion, miscommunication or worse, costs are inescapable in any Texas home building jobs. Open communication line plus limited business model is incredibly critical to decrease the difference and preserve a definite job performance.

Imagine the quantity of money you must invest on just one job -- which can be from hundreds to a million dollars. Why risk your cash and investing on a special job with no appropriate and obvious contract between you as well as the Texas building contractor?

Consider these recommendations when dealing with a development company TX to help you protect your interests.

Ensure that you hire a certified and professional Texas new building contractor for the dwelling construction. In this manner, you won't result in embezzling a bit of cash. Subcontractors come from independent companies which range from roofing, siding and electric to say several. Meanwhile, the contractor must manage the entire job and execute the house end in the established time and budget.
When arranging a building, types first and foremost problem is the contractor who's apt and fit for the work. Here are pointers to reach that:

In case your friend, neighbour, relative, or anyone you know has had prior contractors, it's wise to obtain referrals from them.

After having the contractors name, address and contact details make an appointment with him and discuss your plans and concepts for the job. Construct a link together with the contractor and detect how he reacts to you personally. Don't Forget, however great someone is, if he doesn't click together with you on particular points, don't employ him.

Scrutinize the contractor's company profile; assemble all information regarding his company foundation, his conditions and rules. Create a checklist in the following: substances, association or affiliation of the contactor, expertise, and cost.

It's wise to seek advice from an engineer or an architect since they could provide you with a great referral.

Avoid contractors who might be "fishing" for and expecting to find somebody who'll drop for their exorbitant cost. These "fishing" contractors have more work than they could manage, however they will fit you in if you are ready to pay their excessive amounts.
Locating the proper contractor is challenging. When you locate the correct one, it's important to create a contractor agreement which might assist in solving potential disputes and delays.
Residential Construction
Before you sign a written bid, be reminded the signature is interpreted as deal for the bid. To obtain a clearer arrangement between the parties, request your contractor to provide a proper written contract rather than signing the bid.

Effective task conclusion isn't just a hide-and-seek game. Careful supervision and observation could save you from building dilemmas. Assess the building site and record the progress of the job each day. Listing each of the supplies and costs consumed per-day in order to track your daily cost.
Also ensure safety in the job site by making it a place that employees are on the secure place and conscious of safety precautions.

Keep a great and open communication line with the general contractor and ensure that his team finishes the job in the agreed time period. If problems and misunderstanding occur, don't be afraid to terminate the undertaking or bill first damages, but, discuss each of the problems with your contractor.

It's likewise significant that you simply request the contractor for applicable documents, like guarantee cards, for every one of the appliances and equipment set up on your home.

The exterior of your home is the first thing that guests see when visiting. Your home's aesthetics, landscaping and hardscape surfaces can make a first impression that is positive or negative. These two were given as gifts for us  by our  family dentist.

I believe I bought the one below  from Goodwill last year.

How about you, do you have customized Christmas decor?  What is your favorite Christmas decor to display in your  house?

Preventing Soap Scum in Your Bathtub

There are a lot of problems that people face when trying to clean bathtubs and it is important that you are mainly focused on prevention rather than cleaning things after the fact. If you do not focus on prevention, you will find that it is harder and harder to get your bathtub clean. Within the following article you will find a wide variety of ways that you can prevent soap scum from forming in your bathtub. You will find them all to be incredibly useful in making sure you do not have to clean your bathtub too often.

Cleanliness Through Good Drainage

If your bathtub is not properly draining the water, it is going to result in a number of problems for you. The soap scum will be really problematic if the water does not quickly drain so make sure that you have some type of fluid that can help you to unclog it. There are professionals that can help you to unclog your drain if there is something stuck or if there is a buildup. More than likely, you are going to be able to do it yourself by using a screw driver to take off the filter and then remove whatever is clogging the drain.

Once you have done this, you will find that water goes much quicker and the possibility of soap scum forming on the surface is much decreased. If the water remains stagnant for too long and is not necessarily getting cleaned then you are going to have a series of problems with soap scum!

Type of soap Matters

Another important feature of the soap scum equation is making sure that you do not have the wrong kind of soap in your bathroom. If you are using soap that is really sudsy, you might find that there are a number of problems. It will get complicated if there are soaps that are not specifically made for cleaning your body as well. Try to make sure that you are using gel soaps that are a little easier to get down the drain rather than collecting around the bathtub.

Using these gel types of soaps will help you in the short term, but they will also help in the long run. At the end of the day, it is going to make your life a lot easier.

Soap Scum Prevention Methods

Cleaning the soap scum in your bathtub is one of the hardest and least forgiving cleaning tasks that you can have in your home. It is far better to focus on prevention rather than any of the problems that come from the soap scum afterwards. Prevention is one of the best ways that you can avoid needing to clean too often or frequently.

At the end of the day, the soap scum that you accumulate in the gym is going to be problematic for you to clean in the future. You don’t want extra headaches so listen to these ideas and you’ll be far better off!

Fall Leaves Brings Fun

Fall won't be complete without my Burritos playing with the  fallen leaves on the ground.  My father-in-law has a maple tree in front of the house and it is always the last one to  lost  its leaves in   the neighborhood.  My kids love to  pile 'em up and play with it, this year  was no different.  Even though it's so cold, they still managed to have  fun even on  a short period of time.

My chest was very painful after  watching several videos about the typhoon that  I just want to somehow erase the pain by looking at this fun photos.  I cry every time I watch the news about the the devastating  typhoon Haiyan has brought to my country fellowmen  back home.  I wish that there  is a rewind button in real life so we could just hit that button and make everything  goes back to normal again.  Thank you all for the prayers and  help to the Philippines!

Relief and Donations for Typhoon Haiyan Victims in the Philippines

It said that when you pray or help others, you should not tell the world about it, that you should keep it in secret. Sometimes though, in order to put awareness to others about  your pure intention, say for instance, you want others to help out with a relief operation, you have to announce it. You might be wondering what I am talking about but it just makes me feel sad that some people have the nerve to criticize other people who are willing to help others. I am not saying that it is morally right to announce the charity you are doing to the world but it is not right as well to criticize. Just let it be and the best thing you can do is to try  your best to help in your own way as well.  To the world who  reached out and helped my country Philippines, thank you so much!  The school where my children goes, also organize a relief fund  collection to send to the  typhoon victims.  This  helps children's awareness of what is happening on the other side of the world.  I am posting this not to boast but to  make awareness  to all the people out there with kind hearts, it is not too late to help and no amount is too small to help.  There are so many ways to help and even prayers will do.

I wish there is a way to send some relief goods like  clothes and  other stuff that people in Tacloban, Philippines could use.   Cuddle Buddies Bean Bags would make the evacuees  a bit comfortable  in evacuation centers.  It might not be the  best idea but if there is the way to alleviate their discomfort, why not right?  I know that basic stuff, like water, food, clothing, and shelter is what they need  over there.  I just wish that there is a way to send goodies.  There might be but I just don't know where.  I have experience this kind of tragedy when our home was washed away by a tidal wave and all was left  was the clothes in our bodies so I know exactly how they feel.  It was hard getting back up but with prayer and perseverance and of course the help of other  people through relief and donations, we made it.

Free Books from Schoolastic

My husband and kids love eating cereal.  The Kellog's brands has free books codes in some of their packaging so I  have been redeeming it since  my kids love to read books.  My daughter  want a series book so I look for  some that is appropriate for her age and found the Sleuth or Dare.  I have three of this series now but will wrap it up and put it under the tree hehehe.

Smoke Responsibly

I have three brothers (well, now only two since one of them has passed away already) and luckily nobody really tried smoking even though they saw my father smoke cigarettes when he was still around. One thing that I can say about my father's smoking is that he never did it around us, which was a really great thing to do. I really can't stand it when smokers never care about the sake of other people around them, especially the children. I mean you can still enjoy the cigarette somewhere else where no one can inhale the smoke. I mean you can smoke cigarette responsibly by choosing the right place to do it right?

These days however, the Electronic cigarettes are widely accepted since it does not produce smoke. According to what I’ve read, the cost of using e-cigs is lower compared to buying cigarettes. With electronic cigarettes, you do not have to worry about the cigarette butt which eliminates the waste. I have never experienced smoking so I can't really tell the difference. But according to what I perceive from colleagues who do smoke, it is hard to quit once you are addicted to it. We used to beg my father to quit and he tried many times but he failed every time.

I guess, just like any other kinds of addiction, trying to quit smoking would be so hard as well. People have different reasons why they smoke; some say that it is their avenue to relieve stress, some do smoke just as a habit that they adapted to at an early age. From my own personal point of view, no matter what it is, electronic or regular cigarettes have a bad effect on your health. Anyway, if you want to learn more about electronic cigarettes, visit www.21stcenturysmoke.com as they have different kinds to offer.

On a lighter note, today was a very big day for me and I am glad that it was over as it was causing me stress and anxiety already lol. I am so glad that the outcome was positive and that I can finally go to sleep tonight without worrying about it. I will make a separate post about it when everything is done.

Paint with a Twist - Neon Owl

Ms. Burrito went to a field trip for the gifted program last Thursday.  There's only four of them from her school and one of them is her classmate/friend.  She's the daughter of the very nice lady who  told me about the said program, which I wasn't aware of as  the school doesn't really put it out  to all.
Anyway, while we were waiting for the buss, we took a couple of shots.
My son was   jealous that she got to go  so I told him that if he is interested, I would have him tested too  for the gifted program and he said "Okay, make them test me right now" lol.  I told him that he need to  get ready for the test as it is a series of examinations.
Anyway, here is the painting that she did in canvas using  an acrylic  paint.  She was  telling us all about it.  I think I have to get  her a paint set with easel  and all this Christmas.
This is a  scheduled post, the owner of this blog is busy preparing for something.
