This bumble bee was sleeping when I took a picture of the hosta. I always find it interesting how bugs and other creature survive in the nature. My kids love watching these bumble bees in our garden when they are sleeping.

Skin Cancer
My husband took a specific medicine for his acne problem when he was younger. It cured his acne alright but later on, it caused a bad side effect on his skin. He said that the doctor advised him to stay away from sun exposure as his skin gets easily get burns ever since he took the medicine. So now, he is very cautious when going out in the sun. Knowing the cancer history in his family, he seems to be paranoid of what the doctor have told him before. He was never diagnosed of any skin cancer but I think that it is better to have it checked. I found Molemap Skin Cancer online, its a place that has state of the art facility that can detect melanoma cancer. You can check out some risks and symptoms of melanoma by visiting http://www.nztimberpools.co.nz. They are dedicated in helping you or your family member to prevent melanoma cancer by detecting the disease early.
As you can see in the illustration above, 2.3% of skin cancer is melanoma and looking at the number of death from melanoma scares me. According to the website, here are the risk factors:
- Fair skin
- Light Colored Hair
- Blue or Green Eyes
- Sunbed Use
- Family History of skin cancer
- History of Sunburn
"Prevention is better than cure", so if you think you have the symptoms of skin cancer, have yourself checked out. To find out more information about Molemap Skin Cancer and the services they provide, please visit any of the links I have provided above. There is a link at their website where you search for a clinic near you.

Photos In Canvas with Easy Canvas Prints
Easy Canvas Print is so generous to have let me review once again, one of their canvases , and this time is much larger! I am grateful that they liked my first review of the 16x20 Canvas (valued at $89.41). Quoted below is what Easy Canvas Prints have said about my previous review (Thank you Easy Canvas Prints for your appreciation, it means a lot!).
I love the post - thank you so much! You did a really great job on the content of your post - you feel very authentic and described why you wanted to review a canvas print! I'm super excited to move forward with you, as I trust you'll do a great job again, with a review of a 24"x36" on your Pleasurable Hobbies blog!
My kids were very surprised when the package arrived as it was big and when they opened it up they both said "Whoa, that is gigantic!" They also had so much fun with the bubble wrap which they said sounds like fire crackers as they step on it.
I removed the framed painting on this corner at my office space and put the 24x36 canvas print (valued at $146.43). I lined up the 8x10s at the bottom. So now, I am more inspired when I work in front of my computer as I can look up and see our family pictures! Thank you so much once again Easy Canvas Prints!
Easy Canvas Prints is truly a generous company and they are very easy to work with. No wonder their Facebook Fan Page. has reached 108 thousand likes already. Your Kitchen Lighting Issues: Solved!
The kitchen is one of the most essential areas of home basically because it is where the family's sustenance for everyday is prepared and made. And it is for the same reason that any household's kitchen should be kept as conducive as it can be for cooking and preparing victuals day after day.
Among the most crucial aspects of home design is its lighting. Unfortunately, not everyone is as knowledgeable when it comes to planning out and setting up the lighting at home. Having some knowledge in such aspect, though, should come in handy because aside from providing aesthetics, lighting is essential to productivity at home -- particularly the kitchen.
The following are some of the more common lighting issues and tips on how to deal with them:
Kitchen lighting issue #1: Glaring bulbs
While generous lighting is more than welcome in the kitchen where much of the household's hustle and bustle takes place, too much glare here and anywhere can be counter-productive. Here are some tips and advice that would help minimize bulb glare in your kitchen:
- Decrease the bulbs' wattage
- Especially when used with frosted bulb glasses, dimmer switches can help cut excessive glare from your chandeliers
- If you are using clear bulbs, replace them with frosted ones to achieve a soft glow; applying uniformity in wattages also helps ensure that glare, not light, is reduced
- Add small shades to bulbs that are made out of light-colored fabric. These will help soften and spread the light without hurting the eyes.
Kitchen lighting issue #2: Accent lighting?
A lot of homeowners often wonder whether or not it's sensible to add some accent lighting in such a task-driven area such as the kitchen. In reality, though, it's really up to you. As much as the kitchen should be highly functional, it wouldn't hurt to want to add aesthetics to it. DIY additional accent lights; study the wiring system under your cabinets, buy high-efficient frosted bulbs with those popular modern kitchen light fittings, and you're good to go.
Kitchen lighting issue #3: Buzzing fluorescent lights
Some people find that using fluorescent lights in the kitchen can be impractical because aside from common observations of them fitting poorly, they are known to produce intermittent buzzing sounds from time to time. A reasonable replacement for these would be LED lights that have a soft, fading effect when fitted perfectly under your kitchen cabinets. Compared to pricier designer lights, these are a real steal.
Kitchen lighting issue #4: How to DIY repair
Fixing light fittings on your own can be dangerous, but there are measures by which you can undertake the process sans this risk. Safely doing a light fitting repair takes only five simple steps:
1. Do a light bulb test
2. Do a voltage test
3. Make sure the circuit breaker is switched off
4. Very carefully dismantle the fitting and take it down from the cabinet or ceiling
5. Start the repair process

Butterfly Bush
I have transferred my butterfly bush twice already. My husband told me that I might kill it but I am glad that it still alive. It is now blooming and attracting some butterflies in our garden. There's no butterfly in the photos though.
Do you see the bird's poop in the sun flower leaf?
Power Shopping Tips for Power Tool Shoppers
If you've decided to join us here in the 21st century and get yourself some power tools instead of relying on your old hammer and nails, welcome. Sit yourself down and pay attention to these tips for shopping for power tools.
Go to the right place
Make sure you're at a place that's going to have what you need. Are you looking for a big range that'll give you loads of options, or a Ma and Pa joint that'll have a smaller range but more personalized advice? Head to the big hardware stores if you fall into the former category and your locally owned shop if you're in the latter. Some guys like to have a wander and make all their own decisions, so the bigger stores are better for them, but novices and those looking for a bit of in depth advice might prefer the smaller hardware shops.
Know your brands
Go online and look up reviews of power tools so you know which ones have worked for other people. Be aware that just because one brand does, saw, circular saws really well, it doesn't necessarily mean their hammer drills will be any good. You may need to shop around several brands to get the best of everything, but if you pick brands that are tried and true, like STIHL power tools, you know you'll always be onto a winner.
Start with the basics
If you're just starting out as a power tool user, there's no point jumping straight in to buying the most complicated tool you can lay your hands on. Start with a simple tool that does what it's supposed to do really well, then upgrade from there if you need to. Otherwise, it's more likely you'll end up with a drawer full of complicated instruction manuals for stuff you never use than ending up with a whole lot of well-crafted projects and a magazine-worthy yard.
Don't be fooled by the hype
If you've watched a few too many man shows on Foxtel, you might be seduced into thinking that you need top of the line everything, and a shed bigger than your house to put it all in. If you're a bachelor living in a rural area, that might be practical, but for most men who are doing home maintenance and smaller projects on the weekends, having such a huge shed and a wide array of tools will be nothing more than a hole in your wallet and a creepy looking building in your yard that makes the nneighborswonder what exactly you're getting up to in there. Look at your situation, then buy the tools in the quantities that go with it.
Ask a mate
You can read reviews online all you want but sometimes nothing beats the advice of a mate. Ask him what works for him, what he regrets buying and what he thinks would be right for you. Power tool shopping isn't rocket science, so head to your local store today.

Always Kiss Me Goodnight Decal
This is my second time reviewing a wall decal. The very first one that I did is the Wild Horse with Sun Cut Out design from a company I previously worked with and this time it's the Always Kiss Me Goodnight design from Decaleco. I was going to choose an Asian theme design but as soon as I saw this one, I thought of getting it.
Decaleco also sent me some extra decal for my phone and the butterfly design which I added to the overall Always Kiss Me Goodnight design. It's a little flare that adds spark to the over all look. You can put it into two different ways like the ones below (sorry for the blurry fotos, I took it with my cellphone).
I chose to spread out the words since we have three compartmentalized mirrors for our headboard. The butterflies are small add ons on both sides. Make sense right? Kisses gives butterflies to yiur stomach so it's a great combo!
My daughter find the phone decal very cute. Anyway, you can get in touch with them by liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter.
My kids loved it and my husband smiled when he came home from work. He made a joke that maybe, I should file a divorce with my computer so I can go to bed early at night lol. It is true that I always go to bed late because that's the only time I can work peacefully with my online gigs especially now that the kids are off from school.
Anyway, back to decal walls, Decaleco has a huge selection of beautiful wall decal designs so if you want to check them out, please visit the links provided above. The only thing I could sy is that, they should provide a squigee especially for the first time buyer so they can put the decal smoothly on the wall. Gladly though, I have one from the previous company that I work with so it was easier for me to put them. Overall, I like my experience in working with Decaleco. Oh by the way, they offer free shipping for orders within the US and charged a shipping cost for Canadian orders. Once again, thank you Decaleco!

Drummer
Whenever I am watching a band play, one of the band members that I really admire is the one that plays the drum. I think it takes a lot of talent and skills to play every instrument in front of them and not mess up. I wonder if some of these bands ever tried to browse the new drum shield at musicians friend? I often wonder where they buy their instrument. Does a company sponsors their stuff? Whatever the answers to my questions would remain mysterious as I don't know anyone who plays in a bad. Well, I knew that my husband was part of a band when he was younger but that wasn't really a big thing. He said that some of her friends own their instrument while the bass that he used was lent to him by one of his rich friend.

Recycled Planters
I was going to throw these old boots of Ms. Burrito but I held on to it and thought of using it for something. Then it occurred to me that I can use them as planters. What I did was cut off an empty water bottle and insert it inside then I separated the plants that it used to be on that vase in the middle.
Miss Burrito picked some Double Layered Poppies in our garden and put it in the vase.
She got inspired and started painting the double layered poppies. She painted using her fingers. So there you go friends, our recycled planters and my little artist at work.
PROCESSES INVOLVED IN SHEET METAL FABRICATION
Metal fabrication is the process of manipulating a material, which is some kind of metal like aluminum or steel, to make a product that will in turn be a component of another end product. The process in itself is used to manufacture a variety of materials for the use of different industries’ manufacturing work which include medical equipment, electronics, computers, automobile, and appliances just to name a few. Almost anything made up of or consists of a metal has undergone the different processes of the fabrication of sheet metal which are included below.
Cutting
Cutting the sheet metal into desired pieces can be achieved in different ways using different instruments. These include shearing which utilizes a cutting machine that uses shear stress, abrasive cutting which uses tools such as saws or grinders to cut through the metal, electrical discharge machining or EDM which uses conductive materials melted with a charged electrode’s spark, and laser cutting which uses a laser in order to precisely cut metal sheet.
Forming
The next step, forming, includes the shaping of the cut metal into the specific form it is intended for. Some of the techniques that are employed in the process of forming are rolling which involves metal in flat pieces that have been shaped with a roll stand over and over, stamping which is carried out by tools to stamp designs on the sheet metal, bending and forming which is done by manipulating the material by hand, punching which involves using equipment to cut or punch holes into the surface of the metal, and lastly, welding which is carried out by putting or attaching two pieces of metal together with the use of heat.
Finishing
The finishing process is achieved to make the product ready for another manufacturing company. Finishing may involve polishing or sharpening with an abrasive to eliminate edges and spots that are rough.
The process of the sheet metal fabrication is so practically common as we see many things are in some way created with metal. If you are scouting for a business to assist you in your sheet metal needs, you can visit sheetmetalfabricationdivision.com

Belize and Del Carmen Mexico - Travel Memorabilia #3
Travel Memorabilia #3 are refrigerator magnets that a good friend of mine gave me when they went for a cruise in Mexico and other places. I wish to go on a cruise with my family when our kids are bigger and older enough to remember the whole journey,
Make the Most of Your Refrigerator
A refrigerator is an important purchase for your home. To maintain its efficiency and durability, you should be well versed with tips on how to use your fridge properly.
Then And Now
From stacking food on ice to preserving it in modern day refrigerators, we have indeed come a long way. A refrigerator offers a plethora of choices. It allows you to keep food fresh for longer. You can store and preserve off season food items, shop in bulk and have a wide array of food in your home. The newer models have features like automatic defrosting, power alert, adjustable shelves, eco-friendly personalities, etc.
Inside Outside
Make the most of this goody box. Most new models have ample space and functional designs to help you maximise the use of this appliance. However, there are still some things that you can do to optimise space usage in the fridge. Stack items properly on the various shelves and divisions in the refrigerator. You can use see through containers so it becomes easy to pull out something without disturbing the other items. Place items in a manner that you don’t lose them or allow the food to expire. This is helpful when you have to replenish the fridge. Maintain a healthy flow of air around this goody box. This is important as the coils heat up the air and it needs to be replaced with cooler air. Dust and clean the coils from time to time.
Care For Food
We are so dependent on a refrigerator for our daily requirements. There are simple ways in which we can make sure food stays fresh for a longer period. Most refrigerators have fruit and vegetable bins with humidity control. Some fruits and vegetables may require some sort of packaging while storing them in the fridge to retain flavour, texture and colour. Dairy products should be stored in the main compartment of the fridge. Use the door shelf to store ketchup, juice and other taller items. Do not refreeze foods that have thawed fully.
Save Energy
The refrigerator runs 24 hours, 365 days a year; naturally, it consumes a lot of electricity. To ensure that your fridge is energy efficient, clean the inside parts regularly. A full freezer feels nice, but uses more electricity. Set lower freezer settings for maximum efficiency. Do not open the door of the fridge and stand wondering what you need. The longer the door is open, the tougher it is for the machine to cope with the heat and change in temperature. Tight door seal is crucial when the refrigerator door is closed as this sets the motor off if the temperature deviates from the required setting.

Great Wall of China - Travel Memorabilia #2
Travel memorabilia number 2 is the Great Wall of China Magnet that a friend of mine gave to me when we were still in South Korea. Her and her husband visited China and went to GWC. I haven't been to GWC so this would be an inspiration to fulfill that wish of visiting there someday hehehe.
Thanks Ate Emily Mack for this!
Blood Pressure Monitor
The continuous flourish of Internet Marketing really helps a lot for business owners to get in touch with their customer reach out to prospective clients. It is also a great advantage for us consumers because we can easily find things that we are looking for through the online search results from web hubs such as Google, Yaho, and other major search engines. Say for instance if you are looking for an Auto and Tire center near your place, you might get the Shock Absorber from your results. You can find a lot of options through the results that you get from your search which is really ice because you can find the best that would cater to your needs. Through comparing the prices from each provider, you will be able to find the suitable price for your budget.
I am planning to get us a Blood Pressure Monitor because my husband blood pressure is unstable lately. I found this at Your Pharmacy website but unfortunately, it is only available in New Zealand which is a bummer but I am sure that I can find the same product such as this which is available here in the States. I think that another option that online stores should consider is the availability of their products to be shipped internationally. That would be great for a customer like me who sometimes find the product t that I like but get disappointed when a product is available only at the national market where the product is originated. Just like this blood pressure monitor that I like, the features and the price is just right for me, only that it is not available to ship outside New Zealand. Oh well.
Anyway, I will just look from another source coz I really need to get one for my husband. As I have mentioned earlier, it won't be hard to find tings online these days.

Bring the Outside in with Beautiful Conservatory Furniture
The UK during the summer can be one of the most pleasant places to be. When the sun is beating down there is nothing to compare to soaking up the rays, having a bbq and chatting with friends on the patio until dusk or simply catching up with the newspaper on the decking. Unfortunately, the UK is also home to some pretty unpredictable weather which can mean these idyllic summer days are often few and far between.
The good news is that a conservatory can give you a little of that summertime feeling all year round. Thanks to a conservatory's prime location amidst the greenery of the garden and the natural light it lets in, many people are opting for this beneficial home improvement. Your conservatory will fast become one of your favorite areas of your home especially if you choose the right decor and furniture.
Choosing the right conservatory furniture
Conservatory furniture is completely different to the furniture you would choose for other rooms in your house. Traditionally, conservatory furniture is exotic whilst being comfortable and stylish whilst also offering durability and quality. This is furniture that may only be used occasionally, but which can look stunning set against the backdrop of your garden. Add a few lush tropical plants around your conservatory and you could be forgiven for thinking you were thousands of miles away in more exotic climes.
Over the years, conservatory furniture has grown in popularity and diversity. Wicker and rattan furniture have long been the traditional conservatory favorites for those looking to purchase suitable chairs and sofas and their natural good looks work perfectly in this setting. Plump upholstery in a range of designs, contemporary or traditional styling and matching tables, storage units and plant containers make choosing the right conservatory furniture a breeze.
No matter what size conservatory you have or what shape, there is a conservatory suite or individual items of furniture that will suit your needs perfectly. Corner suites, coffee tables, rattan day beds and footstools can turn an ordinary conservatory into something extraordinary.
Be sure to choose your conservatory furniture wisely and you can effortlessly create the perfect year round haven for those times when you need to take time out from life and reward yourself with some well deserved peace and tranquility. Soft sumptuous cushions, lush greenery and a calm blue sky await you. What more could you ask for?

Pink Hibiscus
I took a quick snap of this beautiful hibiscus before we left the water park that we visited at San Antonio Texas. Isn't pink makes the luscious green even more relaxing to look at?
I will leave you with this qoute that I read from the Woman's Advantage Shared Wisdom Calendar.

Bee Balm
Monarda, Bergamot , or commonly known as Bee Balm flower. This is also known as horsemint and oswego tea. I love the smell of it's leaves when you rub it in your palm, it smells like a spicy but very fragrant oil that is soothing, at least in my sense of smell.
I don't have this plant in my garden but my SIL Jill has so many of this in her garden. This photo was taken from her plants. She is very fond of this as it blooms every year right around the celebration of the 4th of July. Do you have Bee Balm at your garden?
The Art and Science of Rug Cleaning
I paused and find myself reading at Abc Rug and Carpet Care when I saw the phrase "The Art and Science of Rug Cleaning". This company offers rug and carpet care which includes cleaning, repair, and restoration. Some home owners that are rich would normally just toss or replaced a carpet that has been damaged. This type of scenario can be salvaged by ABC Rug and Carpet care by offering a rug repair service.
This reminds me of the plan that my husband is thinking of doing in few years. Underneath our carpet is a beautiful hard wood floor. The reason we chose to put a carpet in when we first bought this house is the fact that our kids were very little then and we were worried that they be tore up every time they fall. But now that they are bigger, hubby thinks that it would be easier for us to clean and maintain a hardwood floor. However, that calls for an extended expense which is buying a rug to put on top of the hardwood floor. Oh well, whatever we come up with in the near future, that would be for the best.

Cucumber or Pipino in Tagalog
I planted six cucumbers this year because we all love to have it for snack.
This is the second batch of fresh cucumbers from our garden. My kids love dipping it with ranch, I just love eating it plain. I also love eating it after I eat BBQ or steak.
How about you, do you like cucumbers? For non-Filipino readers, cucumber is Pipino in our Tagalog language.

Infested From Animal Planet
Have you ever watched the television show Infested? My kids and I watched it one time on Animal Planet and they were pretty grossed out. I regretted that I let them watched it because they were afraid to go to bed that night because they were scared that there might be bed bugs in their beds so I had to really explain to them that we don't have it at home. On the brighter side of that, they have learned the dangers of pests and the ways to prevent pests from coming to our house.
I remember one time, when the nearby road was being repaired, they were digging on the grounds and we noticed a couple of rats visited our yard. I have never seen a rat at our place before so I got alarmed. Our neighbor said that they might have migrated because the place they were staying was being dug out. So we set a trapped where I saw the holes and we did not catch the first night. On the second night, we set the trap again but we also put the poison peanut pellets near the hole and they ate it.
The next morning, I saw one lying by the side of our fence and the other one was also dead by the hole. I was pretty relieved because after that, nobody came anymore. See I was concerned of using the poison pellets because we have two dogs and if they find it and eat it, they would die. Glad the problem was solved right away.
It is a must to consult a professional the moment you see some signs of infestations in your home. Professional exterminators always advise to be observant and act quickly as soon as you see those signs, in order to address the problem right away. Pests like roaches and other bugs will find an entry way to go inside your house. So make sure that if there are cracks from outside to patch it and seal it so they won’t be able to come in. There are many ways to prevent infestation and the most vital is to make sure to maintain cleanliness at your home
