Unique Roses and a Sky View

I usually cut the tip of the stem of the rose when all the petals feel down but this time I forgot to cut one of them. Few days later, I was surprised to see that there are two blooms emerging from it. Hmmm, this is my first time to see this. Is this normal or common?
The last shot is not part of the one I am talking about.

Memories of Korean Friends

Below are photos of  the Korean friends that I met during our  two years of stay in Korea.  It was very tough for us at first when we first settled in because we did not know anyone and we  don't know the Korean language.  Every time we go to the mall, we were hoping that someone will understand us.  But over the course of time, we  adapted to the culture and learned  few words to get by and be understood by the locals.
I miss my former student, Ms. Kim, whom we fondly called Amy.  She became part of our family, unfortunately we had to leave the country as my husband's tour and last assignment in the navy has ended.

Tomlinson Creek

My children love to explore in this small creek by Tomlinson Run. To see some small fish and cray fish is a huge treat for them.
I love to just sit beside the creek and listen to the water flow, it relaxes me.
It also give me time to take photos and reflect sometimes.
This butterfly  teased me when I was trying to  take photos of her.  She kept flying around and I could't get  too close.

Kindness

I love the neighborhood where we live. The people are very nice and kind. One of our neighbors have so many indoor plants and they decided to give me some of it. Below are the 7 fully grown indoor plants. They said that some of them are more than 20 years already. My husband teased me to take extra care of it so it won't die on our care lol.
I don't know the specific names of these plants but I love all of them.  I actually wanted to buy some of these but the problem is the price because they are pricey.  I am so thankful that I got not just one but seven for free!

Thanks Ruth and Don for the kindness you always shared to us!

This is what would happen  at the above situation.

Interesting Designs At The Tree of Life

Disney World's Animal Kingdom  has so many interesting attractions to explore too.  One of the major ones is  the Tree of Life where you to different  exciting  events such as the  "It's Tough to be a Bug."  Going to this   show, you have to  go a long trail going to a cave.  As you move inch by inch from a long  line, you will see interesting designs such as below.
You can find some more pictures at my Nostalgic Marveling blog.  Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy this post.
