Champ

Our dog just love to go wherever we go. Sometimes I don't want to take him with us because he gets super excited and do something like run across the road. I am afraid that he might get hit by a car because he don't pay attention. Anyhow, I would like to request a free term life insurance quote. Requesting a quote is pretty easy these days especially if you have an internet connection.

Reading - Nostalgia # 50

Our son turned four this year and we thought of enrolling him in pre-school but it seems that he isn't ready to go to school so we won't force him. These photos were taken when we were still in Korea. He love to read this book that a friend gave to them.
It's so good to see when both of them sit down together and reading. Our daughter knows how to read now and she love to read to her brother. Our son still misses Korea so much. He always tells us to go home in our blue house (the house that we lived in there.)
My wife told me that her Korean student, Ms. Kim emailed her a couple of weeks ago. She tutored her in speaking English because she wanted to work as a stewardess. Ms. Kim became part of our family that even the kids misses her during our last days in there. My wife enjoyed tutoring English when we were still in Chinhae base. She only had two students but she did enjoy teaching them. I often wondered if there's a tutoring company over there because it seems that most of them goes to the base and pay the military wives to teach them English.

Retired Navy

My husband served the US Navy for twenty years. He's been retired for over a year now and I can see how glad he is that he finally retired. Being in the service molded into a better person. It gave him a chance to travel the world (that's how he found me lol).
Below are the Navy mugs that we bought in South Korea, his last assignment. We stayed there for almost two years before we came back here last year.
Taken at the Navy ball that we attended in Korea. The first and last I have attended hehehe.

I can tell that my husband misses working as a sailor but I am so glad that he is now retired. We finally settled down here and not worry about where to move next if he is still in the service. We are so proud of you Hon!

Philippines

Photos of the Philippine team who showcased some Philippine products during the multi-cultural fair here in Weirton.
Some of the Filipinas who dressed up during the show.  Most of them bought their customes in our country and have it shipped here.
The talented teens from Pittsburgh showcased their talents  by dancing some of the  famous  folk dances in the Philipines.  Below was their performance for the Pnadnago sa Ilaw.  They have lit candles in a glass, one is placed on top of their heads, and one from each  hands.  They did not drop  even a single one during the dance.
These one is the national dance of the Philippines which is the Tinikling.    They dance to the tune made by  bamboos being played by two person.  If you're not fast and agile, your feet will end up being mashed as the music gets faster.  They did wonderful!
Even Ms. Burrito was encouraged to dance lol.  I caught her standing and imitating their steps and when she realized it, she  sat down and looked at me like this, so I snapped a photo of her lol.
Have a nice week ahead everyone.

Although it was cloudy, I was glad to see the sun peeking through them.
Sunshine always gives me hope!

McDo

We don't really encourage the kids to eat foods from a fast food chain but once in a while, we do give in to their request especially if they behave good.
Foods that are made at home is still the best option for  them!

Dogs for Sale

"How much is that dog in the window?" is the line in a song that reminds me whenever I see dogs in a cage for sale. These are some of the dogs that are for sale at a flea market that we went to last weekend, when we looked for a bunny.
Two cute pugs sleeping side by side.
Thanks for visiting folks!

Little Football Player

Meet our funny little football player.  I bought him this football shirt and he  dug out his ball from his toy box and posed for me.
With  this hilarious face that he always does.
Sometimes I get worried about our Mr. Burrito because he seem to get tired so easy.  I wonder if something is wrong with him but he isn't like our daughter who can run far but never say she's tired.  He won't be able to play football if he  will grow up weak or something.

Goats, Deers, and Chickens

Driving down West Virginia gave us the pleasure to see things that we don't see regularly in the city.
