Nostalgia # 33 - Five Years Ago
Five years ago, my Aunt Athelea served as my wife's Mom here in the States. She liked Rose and even told my wife to tell my mother-in-law that she adopted Rose. She was still alive when we left going to Korea but we were saddened when she passed away before we came back.
The picture above was taken at her house on December 25th, we paid them a visit. They always have nice gifts for us. Now that she's gone and her husband re-married again, we lost contact with the family. Farewell Aunt Athelea, you will always remembered. May you rest in peace with the Lord.

Christmas Lights Trip
We drove around to look at some of the Christmas light displays at the neighborhood by the hospital. The big houses there a has some pretty lights.
I bet some of them paid somebody to do their decorations for them. The kids enjoy the light parade in that rich neighborhood area.
We are planning to go at Oogle Bay to see their Christmas lights display.
Have a merry Christmas everyone!

Adventure Play Tent
Our very good friend Agnes (EJ's godmother), gave the burritos a discovery Kidz's adventure play tent. My husband assembled it in their bedroom and they love it. The first night, the girl burrito wanted to sleep inside it but then she changed her mind afterwards hehehe.
Our dog Champ is scared of it, he freaked out when he saw it and continuously barking whenever he passes the room. Below are the burritos having fun. The Nerf gun was from Uncle Dave. Thanks guys for the presents!

Random Photos - Nostalgia # 32
Photos were taken on our way home from Steubenville Ohio. This is what you will see when you enter Weirton.
It's a veteran memorial park dedicated for the vets that fought for the land of the free and home of the brave.
Hubby was telling me about the time when he wanted to quit the service during his first couple of weeks of attending the boot camp. He's glad that God sent someone to talked him out of quitting. He said that the military molded him to become a better a man that he is now.

Nostalgia # 31 - Turtle Ship
This was the token that my last command n Korea had given me. It is a replica of a turtle ship.
I am glad that I am now retired and thankful that I joined the Navy. I learned so many things and lessons in life.

Father & Son's happy Moments
It is very obvious that our two burritos love their Daddy so much. They always ask him to play with them all of the time.
EJ look up for his Dad for all times. When hubby is in school, EJ look forward of seeing him at home. Sometimes he would cry because he misses his dad.
I always thank my husband for being such a great and loving father to our burritos!

First Steps
We are thinking of changing the doctor for the kids. The one that they have is near to our home but when you go there, you won't feel the warmth presence of the crew. For them, it is just like a business and most of the times the doctor is not in. We want someone that would treat our kids like human beings, I mean they do but.. I don't know how to describe it but you might know what I mean.
Bee Happy
Here's to cheer up your Wednesday! Our daughter was always a happy camper when she was a baby. She seldom cry unless she is not feeling well, hungry, or has a soiled diaper. Is it just me or some of the parents wishes that their kids would remain babies forever? When they are babies, they are care free and worry free.
As they grow up, you have to deal with the "I know everything" attitude hehehe. So far, our kids are growing up in the right direction, I believe. I hope that what me and my wife are doing are the best for them when they grow up. I don't want them to feel like they were neglected or misguided when they were little.
Red, White, and Blue
My wife spotted and took a picture of this rolling shed near the St. Paul's School yesterday when we went to the library. I am not sure what the function of that in the parking area but it sure looks good with red, white, and blue.

My kids love Jen and Jim's children. They are fun to play with and they take care of our children every time they play.
They love burrying themselves under a pile of leaves. This little burrito is pretending that he is hidden lol.

Sky Shots
Here are two random sy shots that were taken last weekend on our way to visit my Dad. We were caught by the stop light when our son saw these birds on the electric wire. He wanted mommy to take pictures of it, so here it is.
One way of entertaining the kids when driving or traveling is to give them something to do. We always encourage them to count cars according to color every time we go somewhere. They are not only entertained but they are also exercising their counting skills and awareness of everything while we are on the road.

Sweethearts
This chair is now officially owned by Champ, our jack russel terrier dog. I am sure that he misses his girlfriend Chelsea. We gave Chelsea for adoption to one of the Pinays that we knew here in the area. She did not have a daughter so she treats Chelsea like one lol.

Penny for your Thought
My FIL gave these collection to my husband. They are pennies from way back then. It isn't complete though but it's worth keeping as it is handed down to him. He can keep this and give it to EJ when he's old enough to keep things.
Thanks for dropping by!

Fine Lining
This was taken a couple of days ago when I saw this fine lining of cloud on a dark blue sky. Almost all the trees have lost their leaves already and the surrounding is starting to look sad. That's one thing I don't like about the coming of winter. It's taking away the beauty of nature.
