Garden Ball

Saw this vibrant red ball at my SIL Jill's garden yesterday. She asked me why I took a picture of it, I smiled and said "Perfect for my Ruby Tuesday", she asked again "What?" Lol!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!  My appreciation for those who died serving the  land of the free.  See, our freedom is not free at all so please appreciate it!  My family is  celebrating in remembrance of  my father-in-law's  brother who died in Germany while on active duty many years ago.  His body was never brought home.

Treat

Did I ever tell you, he eats everything except dog food? Lol, yeah I know he is spoiled but  when he is doing something wrong, we don't give him table food but the one he doesn't like, his dry dog food!

Bird's House

Remember the bird's house that I got as a reward from commenting to one of the blogs I have visited? We installed it a couple of weeks ago at our fence.

I transferred the clematis that I have in front of our house to accentuate the new house of birdies.

I am glad to see that in a couple of days after we installed it, the sparrows started building a nest inside.

I still need to get a bird's feeder and food so they will be completely happy.

Roses are Red

Roses are red and V... you guessed it right, I am singing hehehe.  My rose are full of buds now, in  few more weeks, we will enjoy it's blooms.  I ca't wait!

Balikbayan Boxes

I have been meaning to send these boxes to my family since last year but wasn't able to collect the things that I wanted to send them. Finally, I gathered them all up and sent it last Friday. We dropped it off in front of the closed Giant Eagle near Robinson. We met up with Mang Bert there and gave him the boxes.

I took a photo of Mr. K while he was singing along in one of his favorite country music that was playing on the radio. He caught me and smiled lol.

We got there earlier so while we were waiting for Mang Bert, we had time to take some snaps.

Oner of the boxes will go to my Mom in Bicol and one will go to my sister in Cavite.

We decided to drive to Pittsburgh so we could buy some Asian goodies at Strip District. I took a shot of this interesting building structure while the traffic was slowing us down.

I was bummed out that Blogger was down for two days but also glad that we were able to do things. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Mine is pretty busy cleaning, rearranging, and changing beddings at our abode.

Quiet means..

When the kids are QUIET, it means either a big mess or they are glued on their favorite show on TV.  In this case....  QUITE a mess!

Elephant in the Window

Imagine a real camel errr elephant inside your house? That would rock the whole floor isn't it? Sorry for the weird thoughts folks hehehe. I took this shot when we visited my brother-in-law at their house after the surgery (thank you all so much for your prayers). My SIL has a lot of neat collection at their house.

Note, sorry about the confusion earlier. My wife typed camel instead of an elephant lol. Thanks to those who caught it hahaha.

PS.. This is Rose, sorry about the confusion.. I was in a hurry this morning that I got camel and elephant mixed up lol.

Mayon Volcano

I took these photographs while we were waiting for our flight going to Manila last July 5, 2009 . I captured one of the plane that was taking off with the view of the majestic Mayon Volcano. Mayon Volcano is beautiful but it is very active.

As most of you knew, I am from the Philippines. So my country's name and the Plane is perfect for P in ABC. Oh the name of the airline is Pacific Air.. PERFECT!
