Start the Day Right

Your first meal upon waking gets you moving in the right direction. Study shows a nutritious, balanced breakfast helps with alertness, energy and even weight management.. Refuel with the right foods every morning (doughnuts dont count).

More ways to Power UP in the morning.
  1. Get enough sleep the night before. If you feel tired when you wake up, you may need more or better quality sleep. Go to bed 15 minutes earlier each night until you're able to sleep at least seven hours. Wind down before bed time andavoid stimulants and alcohol.
  2. Don't hit the snooze button. It really doesnt make getting out of bed any easier, especially if you fall asleep again.
  3. Erase the morning rush - make your lunch, check your to do list and lay out your work clothes.
  4. Get a move on. Regular exercise helps you sleep better, fight fatigue and work smarter.

I'm actually doing this all wrong. I can't sleep, I would stay out of bed until I 'think' I feel sleepy thus making me lose more sleep than I should. ..argghh....

Hi Joops, you're right there.
I have two half boiled eggs and toast.
1 banana, big cup of Maxwell House rich blend coffee with 2% milk.

Later followed by big glass of Chinese green tea...5 times a day.
And everyday, eat Fuji apples, or grapes, oranges, three bananas, peaches or pears.
Sometimes three fruits if JLo or Salmah Hayek on TV, heh heh.
