I have been busy in my garden lately. I don't have proper training or education on landscaping so designing our yard is an experiment for me. I always make changes to the design I made from the previous year when I see that it would look better the other way.
My tomatoes and potatoes are doing great but my peppers are being eaten by small black ants. Does anyone know what's the best way to get rid of ants?

You might try some hot sauce for those ants. They don't need it full strength. Dilute with water as follows: 1 part hot sauce to 3 parts water. Sprinkle it liberally on the ground around your plants. The ants in my garden don't like it and it doesn't hurt your plants. It keeps roses free of bugs, too. :) If you have a large area to cover, Sams has a great jug of hot sauce that's not too expensive.
Thanks a lot Lois, I would definitely try that tip!
