Eagle and some birds

As we drove going home yesterday from Maryland. My wife busied herself taking pictures of stuff while I was driving. Our sony digital camera only has 12.1 megapixels with an optical zoom of 5x so it is not really good in taking photos on far distances. So the photos of the birds are so small plus the fact that we were driving. The first one is an eagle.

A flock of birds, not sure what are they.

I can't believe how many farms we have passed. Rose was frustrated that she did not able to take good pictures of the cows and horse.

The other day when we went on a short day trip, the vultures were following us! LOL [guess they know more than we know? Who knows!]

Lovely photos.

My C C is posted below my Photo Hunt Photo. Come see if you have time in your busy day! Happy weekend.

It is fun to take pictures while on a road trip... only trouble is I try to drive and use the camera!

Thanks for stopping by my post.. it was actually a triple birth - most likely two were from the same egg, and the other from a different one.

I got yours and Rose's blogs mixed up. As I told her in her comments, you have a beautiful family. Wanted to also say thank you for your service to our country.

BTW, I dreamed of having a log cabin for over 20 years and after our daughter graduated from college & married we sold our big old house in Phoenix and downsized to a condo. Then we bought a little acreage in Idaho and had the log cabin built.I took my retirement at 55 so am at the cabin most of the time.Patrick is still employed and has a few years to go, them we plan on farrr N.Idaho full time.Just keep dreaming of your log cabin and someday it might become a reality. I never really thought it would happen for us,but it has. (I pray a lot too...God is faithful.)

I found myself avoiding major pixels for a better zoom when I bought my camera not too long ago, since whatever I seem to take is always too far away from me, especially birds and the moon! :)

It's always good to have a camera at the ready to store the memories. Now you'll never forget the eagle you saw!

Both you and Rose are really avid photographers, lol. You may want to make photography as a profession because both of you are already very proficient in taking pictures even while driving. The eagle was really very high and far that it has become a virtual dot in the sky, lol. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

those were still good shots...

Haha..Rose forgot to take photos on farm animals because she was busy with those birds up in the sky....

Have a nice day!
