Trumpet Vine Finally Bloomed!

After 3 years of waiting, my trumpet vine finally bloomed, hooray!
I have been waiting for it to bloom because according to what I have read, its blossom attracts  humming bird too.  Mabe that's why, I had one that visited a couple of weeks ago.
Hopefully, next year, the whole vine  will  produce more blooms because right now, it's just a few.

Below is a  shot of the flower that I have in my garden which I am not sure what it's called.

Thank you for visiting.

I think you will be surprised at how many blooms you will get in the future. We once lived on property that was an old nursery and the trumpet vines were very prolific!
Enjoy that beauty!

Those are beautiful flowers indeed. I think the first one is similar to a yellowbell in the Philippines. The second one maybe a cosmos but I'm not sure of it. Great that the flowers you planted in your garden are now starting to bloom. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Hooray for the patient gardener! My friend Dave has been grafting & planting apple trees--long-term investment. See that you're in the Pittsburgh area? Grew up north of there in the Alleghenies. Great country.

What a lovely surprise after waiting for three years. It wasn't long ago that I saw my first trumpet flower. The other one is a beauty too.
