Cabela's Display

My husband took these shots when him and a friend went to Cabela's to buy some hunting stuff.
He wants to bring me and the kids there too, he said that there is so much fun stuff to see that the kids will like.
Aren't those displays beautiful?

  2. the non-hunter in me just thinks that there is something so wrong with this .. the cook (and eater) in me wants someone to drop off some venison so I can make a pot of chili.

  3. I've never seen a store with so many animals displayed -- the geese are pretty neat looking.

Visiting from the Camera Critters meme.

  4. Is this the one in Scarborough Maine? I love going there too and love shopping gifts for Hubby. You will never go wrong when you buy Cabela's Gift cards for Hubby. This I learned after I saw all those gifts I bought for him in the past gathering dust in the cellar. lol

  6. Truly someone's idea of fun, just not mine. They do make lovely shadows though.

  7. These are some majestic trophies. I can't help but think that the living creatures were even more majestic than their "stuffed leftovers"! :-)

    A SEEKER OF SHADOWS

A seeker of shadows one day
Asked shadows to come out and play:
    “O shadows, my dears,
    Despite all my fears,
I hope you will not run away.”

  8. Wow. Interesting ShadowShots. The shadows on the bottom photo are so quiet...almost look like double shadows!

  10. Cabela's is always an interesting store to visit. The Bass Pro Store in Springfield, Missouri is unbelievable--it's almost like a natural history musuem. Nice post. Mickie
