the impact of color in our moods

Have you ever wondered why a clear blue sky puts you in a good mood? Or how the off-white walls of your office seem to put you to sleep? It's not your imagination: Studies show that colors have a profound effect on our emotions. So how can you harness color to aid in your personal mood boosting?

Colors can definitely affect our moods. In the morning, I usually want to see something lighter so my day will be easy and light. How about you? Does color affect the way you perceive things? Does it affect your mood? Does it make you feel gloomy when you see black color or dark brown? You may share your opinions here please...

  9. Nice post pare..

I ussually discuss this topic with my Architecture students in a regular Theory of Arch. subject...Color is element in architecture that should be applied carefully in designing and classifying a color for a certain Room coz it plays an important role to manifest a Psychological effect...to add some...Red are ussually suitable in a master bedroom or a honeymoon suite because it provides a Romantic and Vigorous stimulations...matched with lines that are also part of element in arch...Zig-zag line for instance is good for activity rooms so and and so forth..

Merry Christmas Pare...Godbless you and your Family..

  10. hello! was here today. i like pastel colors during daytime. For my blog, I prefer green, hehe.

But if you asked me about my favorite colors (especially when it comes to clothes), I go for darker ones - red, blue, black.

Have a nice Sunday to you and to your family!!!

  11. Colors affect your appetite, too. Researchers have discovered that kids don't like M&Ms that are blue or green. Instead, they go for brighter colors like yellow or red.

As for me, I wouldn't wanna drink anything that's blue, and my appetite would be lost if all the dishes are green or brown!! :)

    Very good post.
