Painted Plates

As I have mentioned in my post from my other blog,  hubby and I drove to New Cumberland to  pick up the plates that our kids have painted last October 5th  at Homer & Laughlin China Co. in Newell West Virginia.  We picked it up at New Cumberland Candles Co.
The candle company was located  in the old school building adjacent to the court building.  While my husband was  using the restroom, I took the opportunity to snap a shot of the  old photos at  the hallway of the school.
Here are the  plates that  my Burritos had painted.
The  company  hosts this  plate painting every year  and this is the first time  the kids have participated.  I thinbk if there will be more next year, we will sure go again.  It was a lot of fun!

  2. Those plates would make a wonderful memento for when the kids grow old. Especially if you do go every year. They'd make a great display and showcase how the kids' artistic skills improve through the years. :-)
