Paint with a Twist - Neon Owl

Ms. Burrito went to a field trip for the gifted program last Thursday.  There's only four of them from her school and one of them is her classmate/friend.  She's the daughter of the very nice lady who  told me about the said program, which I wasn't aware of as  the school doesn't really put it out  to all.
Anyway, while we were waiting for the buss, we took a couple of shots.
My son was   jealous that she got to go  so I told him that if he is interested, I would have him tested too  for the gifted program and he said "Okay, make them test me right now" lol.  I told him that he need to  get ready for the test as it is a series of examinations.
Anyway, here is the painting that she did in canvas using  an acrylic  paint.  She was  telling us all about it.  I think I have to get  her a paint set with easel  and all this Christmas.
This is a  scheduled post, the owner of this blog is busy preparing for something.
