My hostas and lilies are finally coming up after a couple of days of warm weather. I hope that there would be no more cold weather surprises. I don't know what kind of plant is this red leaf-plant that I saw by the river but they are pretty.

I hope everyone is having a great week. Tomorrow will be the last day of State testing in school. My son was very anxious about it but after the first day, he said "I was scared for nothing" lol.
Good luck on the rest of State testing. I'm sure it will go smoothly.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty plants. I have never seen those before. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletenice, it seems that your plants are ready for spring now...
ReplyDeleteI love hostas. They are beautiful and grow well in so many climates. Also, they're apparently very easy to take care of since I have NO gardening ability and haven't managed to kill them.
ReplyDeleteLove flowers but have never heard of Hostas
ReplyDeleteWe have some big plants coming up in our yard, I think they are banana tree plants or something, they are huge with big orange flowers on them. I cannot wait until they are in full bloom. Our landlady has them all over the 2 acre yard!
ReplyDeleteLove the first signs of Spring. I have never heard of Hostas before, can not wait to see them in full bloom.
ReplyDeleteI love your plants, i really wish I can do that also soon once we find our own place. I love gardening so enjoyable :)
ReplyDeleteBe sure and post pictures when they bloom. I would love to see the flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour son is funny! :) It will be cold here this weekend and that really sucks! :(
ReplyDeleteMy hostas are popping their leaves thru the dirt and I am so excited. I always worry, year after year, that the moles have gotten them and they will not reappear. So far so good this year. I need some pretty purple ones like yours. Do know what they are called? genie
