I love the pink water lily. I like how it's pinkness/fuschia color stands out in the photo.
I really like to have a pond in my yard but I'm quite worried about it becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Maybe if it's a zen-kind of pond with running water or a small fountain with it, that may pass.
Yay, this reminds me of the waterlilies we have in our pond at the cabin. I love the pink ones we have and I hope they make it through the winter :)I wish I can also have the white waterlilies. Great shots!
the first one so glow beautifully, the contrast and the lighting is so beautiful, and yes, the gift of pictures, we can enjoy them as good as new despite they are years old :)
Nice shot! We used to have those water lilies too in our mini pond. But due to the dengue scare, we decided to empty the water and put some soil in it. A soil based plants and flowers awaits to bloom.

ReplyDeleteHi Papaleng, these are water lilies as the leaves rest on the water while lotus leaves rise up a few inches from the water.
