As I was writing this post, the Bourne Ultimatum movie is in my mind lol. My pumpkin and the movie is not related at all but I gave this pumpkin plant an ultimatum that if she doesn't bear fruit, I would pull her out.
A week after I told her that, I saw these two fruits!
Yeah I know, it's weird that I talk to my plants but I just got frustrated that I plant pumpkin every year but I never got any fruit, so this year, I pulled a strategy and that's to give her ultimatum lol.
Have you ever talked to a plant before? I know, it's "NUTTY" but it works! I do that all the time with my flowering plants.
Prince Charles talks to his plants so you are in good company :-) Diane

I agree--at least it didn't talk back! LOL! Congrats on being the featured blog and happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI love the shadows bouncing about. The shadow on the pumpkin almost looks like a Jack O'Lantern!
ReplyDeleteI talk to everything. Plants, birds, groundhogs ... it's really for the best that I don't have any nearby neighbors. I'm sure they'd have me committed.
ReplyDeleteI talk to my plants too, as do lots of people. Nothing wrong with it as long as they don't talk back! lol
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows and I am glad that you didn't have to pull the plant.
I could never grow a pumpkin where I live, the growing season is far too short!

ReplyDeleteROG, ABC Wednesday team
Actually they experimented with a lake in Japan by talking to it, and they claim that it had huge positive consequences - so it's not so nutty:)
ReplyDeleteIs it any nuttier to talk to plants than it is to talk to yourself? I wonder...I say, it's all good!
ReplyDeletePlants are filled with 'energy' and talking to them is wonderful ~ nutty is good too ~ great post and photos ~ (A Creative Harbor)
