Bourne Ultimatum

As I was writing this post, the Bourne Ultimatum movie is in my mind lol.  My pumpkin and  the movie is not related at all but I gave this pumpkin plant an ultimatum that if  she doesn't bear fruit, I would pull her out.
A week after I told her that, I saw these two fruits!
Yeah I know, it's weird that I talk to my plants but I just got frustrated that I plant pumpkin every year but I never got any fruit,  so this year, I  pulled a strategy and that's to give her ultimatum lol.
Have you ever talked to a plant before?  I know, it's "NUTTY" but it works!  I do that all the time with my  flowering plants.

  8. I love the shadows bouncing about. The shadow on the pumpkin almost looks like a Jack O'Lantern!

  9. I talk to everything. Plants, birds, groundhogs ... it's really for the best that I don't have any nearby neighbors. I'm sure they'd have me committed.

Great shadows and I am glad that you didn't have to pull the plant.

  16. Actually they experimented with a lake in Japan by talking to it, and they claim that it had huge positive consequences - so it's not so nutty:)

  17. Is it any nuttier to talk to plants than it is to talk to yourself? I wonder...I say, it's all good!
