These wild berries that were hanging at my sister-in-law's fence grabbed my attention. I love their pink vine and it is just so beautiful to look at against the luscious green and black color of the fruits.

ReplyDeleteThis looks like polk weed...ever hear the song Polk Salad Annie? While the young leaves can be fixed similar to turnip greens the plant is toxic.

Hello everyone, I don't think the berries are edible. You may read what Francie had wrote above. She is right, the berrie is called polk weed, it is an ornamental plant but not edible.
