My gladiolas are a little bit late in blooming this year. I transferred them from one place to another, maybe that is the reason. They are now budding up though. I took these two shots at my FIL's garden.

Bumble Bee, Hibiscus and more
Small butterflies and bumble bee competes in getting the goodness of hibiscus blooms. I have few hibiscus plants but it is outside our fence, my husband did not include it inside when we did our fence because the panels are a little short. They are now in full bloom.
Do you see the Bumble Bee at the back of the first and second photos? Here's the teeny weeny butterfly (not sure if it is) sipping the nectar out of the hibiscus.
Thanks for visiting and for leaving your thoughts. Your opinion in my photography is highly welcome.

As the Moon Shines
I took a couple of shots as the moon shines on some clouds in the sky one night. I don't have a special lens for my D3100 camera but I think that it still captures the beauty of the moon.
"The point of prayer is not to get answer from God, but to have perfect and complete oneness with Him. Better start and endure the day with a prayer."

A rose by any other name would smell as Sweet

That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

These are random shots that I took in my garden.
Day Lily and roses.
It's nice to be able to wake up in the morning and know that you are well-loved by your spouse, your children, and God.
We may not have everything that we want but knowing that we are well-loved is more than enough. Do you feel the same way?Monday, July 11, 2011
Trumpet Vine Finally Bloomed!
After 3 years of waiting, my trumpet vine finally bloomed, hooray!
Below is a shot of the flower that I have in my garden which I am not sure what it's called.
I have been waiting for it to bloom because according to what I have read, its blossom attracts humming bird too. Mabe that's why, I had one that visited a couple of weeks ago.
Hopefully, next year, the whole vine will produce more blooms because right now, it's just a few. Below is a shot of the flower that I have in my garden which I am not sure what it's called.
Thank you for visiting.

Joy in Small Things
This pretty little critter might be small but it brings so much joy to us especially to our daughter. She love to observe them hopping from one flower to the other.
Do you see the ant crawling under one of the petals of the lily?
I am not good in distinguishing critters so I am not sure if this is a baby butterfly, a moth, or what?
Thanks for dropping by! Happy birthday to our dear princess who turns SIX years old today.

Cactus Flower
My SIL Chris' cactus are now blooming. I took a couple of shots of it when we went and visited her a couple of days ago.
Do you see the bee feasting in the middle?
Yellow color is very significant to the color coding that hubby and I used during our first meeting. We agreed that I would wear yellow top and he would wear red so we could easily identify each other from the crowd in the airport.
