There are so many kinds of lilies and this one I dunno what it's called. One thing for sure, she's orange so I will call her Orange Lily hehehe. Anyhow, I started this with three bulbs from my FIL then if grows thicker each year.
These two shots here below were taken at my FIL's yard. All the ones in my garden are now in full bloom. I love their blooms, too bad it doesn't last very long.

Happy Father's Day to John and your FIL. Thanks for the post. God bless you all.
The house where my parents lived isn't there anymore, but these flowers still bloom next to where the mailbox once stood. These bring back nice memories. Lovely shots!
Those are beautiful. One of the common names for them is tiger lily.
Your lilies are gorgeous, such a pretty color. I don't have any in my garden but after seeing these I know what I will be buying the next time I go to the flower nursery.
Thanks for stopping by. I have been curious about the milk thistle also and I went on another search and found this.
Milk thistle gets its name from the milky substance that can be found when its leaves are crushed. Most parts of this plant, including the leaves, stem, flower, roots and seeds, are all edible. Milk thistle extract is sometimes called silymarin and can be used to treat a variety of health problems.
Lovely flowers :)
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great week, Rose...
