Patriotic

I am not a big fan of tattoos, but for the sake of fun and for showing patriotism, I let my daughter have a fake tattoo on her face Last July of 2008. I'm trying to instill a deep sense of patriotism in the hearts of our children, even though it's just a trendy thing these days with most Americans. Blue has always been my favorite color, probably because I'm an Aquarius.

There is just something peaceful and relaxing about the color blue (especially sky blue). Some say it is a cool or cold color but I think it feels open and free. Maybe that's why blue is the perfect color for the American flag because it connotes freedom.

  10. Good Morning, Joops, and welcome to Blue Monday! You bet your bottom dollar I just voted for your precious daughter, and you bet your bottom dollar I just signed on as a follower. :-)

I appreciate SO much what you and the rest of our service men and women are doing to secure our liberties, and I want to thank you for that. My cousin is overseas right now with an Air Force squadron. He's in the Guard and normally flies with the Hurricane Hunters. His dad (my first cousin) was a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force before he retired. So I love the military, and I proudly salue the flag and the patriots who serve it!

    Happy Blue Monday...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
