I read in an old magazine many years ago a feature about a father who planted a tree the day his daughter was born. Every anniversary of his daughter's birth he and his daughter would pose for a picture beside the tree. There were 19 pictures, the first one was taken the day the daughter was born and the tree was just a seedling. The 19th picture showed the father who has aged and the fully grown tree and the daughter who has grown into a beautiful woman. I was twelve when I read that article but I was touched by it and made a promise to my self that when i become a father I'd do it also to my child. But I never had the chance to do it, circumstances were different than the way i had planned it. Now I just try to make almost every wish that my son has become reality for him to the point of spoiling him. Haaaa parenthood is such a difficult but rewarding job :)
