Flying Back from California

These were photos taken by our daughter when we were glying back from California.  Whenever we gly, the kids  always   wants to sit  by the window so  they could look out.  She told me that the sunset was beauiful so I asked her to take some photos since she was seated by the window and these are the shots she took.  Not bad for an 8 year old.
It's been almost two years since we  attended the  Doodle4Google in Mountain View California.  It was a ffun   trip, a lot of learning activities for the kids.   Google  was  so graceous to include additional  two family members to attend the event.  Although, we have paid for our own travel fare but the experience was all worth it.
Traveling with our kids is fun.  They are well-traveled kids so we  never really have issues with them  when we  take  trips.  Ever since they were little, they were always good travelers. I guess they got used to it  since  my bhusband  was in the military and traveling is  necessary.

Best Ways to Find Cheap Airfare

It seems as if every time you blink an eye, the cost of airfare is going up significantly. Although it’s becoming harder and harder to find a cheap price, it’s not entirely impossible. Instead, you just need to know where exactly to look. Check out the following best ways to find cheap airfare and get to traveling without emptying your savings account.

Your Work
If you do a lot of traveling for work, consider asking if they offer travel rewards cards or any type of incentive or discount to help lower the cost of travel. Some companies are willing to allow their employees to collect their points or rewards and apply them however they want—work-related or not. Simply ask your company what they offer. You may find they have a credit card you can use to accumulate points, or you may find they have partnered with a certain airline to get you a discount. It doesn’t hurt to ask, and it could save you a decent amount.

Credit Cards
Travel rewards cards are a great way to cut back the cost of travel. These cards work differently, but in most cases, you either earn points to put toward a future flight, or you may earn cash back that you can use toward a flight. Either way, by simply charging the things that you normally charge, you can earn enough to take that vacation without paying for travel.

Catalogs
It may seem dated, but catalogs can provide a lot of information regarding great prices. Chartering planes has become popular over the years, and the cost has dropped making it more budget-friendly. An online private jet catalog can give you all the information you need to determine whether or not chartering is a better option for your travels and your bottom line.

Internet Sites
There are a variety of internet sites dedicated to travel, and most of these offer significant savings when it comes to airfare. Visit these sites and compare the cost of your trip with each other. You may just find one site that earns you cheaper airfare. However, just be wary of layovers as well as travel times, as you may end up traveling for a few days to get the price they offered.

Travel Agents
Most people think that travel agents are too costly, but that’s not the case. These professionals work with companies so regularly that they often have special discounts and incentives that aren’t available to the general public. It doesn’t cost anything for you to meet with a travel agent and go over the details. They’ll typically offer you a quote too without any money down, so there’s no harm in trying.

Even if airfare is going up, there’s always a way for you to cut it down a bit. Use these tips to find the best possible price for airfare, and you may just be happier when you arrive at the airport than you thought.

Cleaner Air Using FilterSnap Filters Saves Time for Family Time

When you're a Mom, weekend is just like ordinary days.  It's not a day off from work but  just a regular  day of work.  If you are a Mom, you will understand  what I am saying lol.  Anyway, my weekend was spent  cleaning, cooking,  and I was able to squeeze in a 4 mile walk in the treadmill while doing laundry.  I am just glad that I didn't have to  clean our furniture since we  put in a new filter  from FilterSnap.  My husband replaced the filter  5 days ago and  when I inspected our furniture today, there's no dust yet.
I didn't know the huge difference until we started  using Filter snap filters.  I used to dust our furniture twice a week when we were using a different filter but now, I don't have to.  It makes a huge difference to use   a good quality filter, it really clean the air that goes around the house.
It is a little bit pricey compared to the  filter that we used to buy but it is worth it because it saves you time to do the  things that matters most.  Instead of  spending time  cleaning, I have extra time to work out, have a tea, and play with the family.
I even have time to paint my nails after everything  is done, yes!
FilterSnap offers a subscription service for filters, they deliver  your order right through your doorsteps.  FilterSnap make sure that your satisfaction is guaranteed.  If you ordered the wrong size, they will send you the correct size with no shipping  charge.  If they mess up your order,  they’ll work extra hard to fix it.  If in case the filter is damaged in shipping,  they will send  you a replacement for free.  With this illustration, you can sum up why you need to try FilterSnap:
Thank you FilterSnap, we have cleaner air  and you definitely  saves us ample time to bond and have a precious family time.
Disclosure: The owner of this blog was NOT financially compensated to write this review.  I was provided with the products mentioned  in exchange of my honest  opinion which may differ from yours.

Weather Changes

The change in weather is affecting  every one's health.  The climate can change drastically, one day it is freezing and the next day it is warm.  It messes up our body, don't you agree?  The photos below were taken  two weeks ago when it was  freezing  outside.
You can see how the tree branches are frozen even with the sun shining.
It's not good when it snowed and then  the next day it rains because  it creates  icy road and  walkway.
Yesterday was sunny and a bit warmer but today it is raining.
I had a sever stomach ache yesterday that  I could barely walk.  I had to go to bed early and rest my stomach against the bed because it was painful.  I woke up   a little better today but still in pain.  I have to go to school for my volunteer duty today and I  don't like that it is raining.

Turn Your Hobby into a Career!

If you’re seriously passionate about your hobby, what could be better than turning it into a fully fledged career? Turning your hobby into a career rather than just a pastime could change your entire life. Making money doing something you love will never really feel like work. You won’t have to force yourself to get out of bed, read your emails, or call a client. You’ll genuinely want to, because it’s something you love to do! These tips will help you to turn your hobby into a career if this sounds appealing to you:

Always Work on Honing Your Skills

Don’t get complacent with your hobby. Make sure you’re always working on ways to hone your skills. Learn new techniques and methods that could help you to expand what you offer. Take classes and workshops, even if you feel like you already know everything there is to know. You might be surprised. At the very least, you’ll pick up some valuable tips to help you!

Teach Others to Do What You Love

You don’t necessarily have to sell your wares to turn your hobby into a career. You could put a different spin on it instead. How about teaching others to do what you love? You could teach people to write stories that really stick in a reader’s mind. Teach people how to play your beloved instrument. You could even teach a foreign language. You can teach absolutely anything, even if it’s a niche market. There are bound to be people out there who want to learn about it. You could set up your own workshop, and even create online resources to help people learn. There are no limits to the way you share your skills these days.

Write/Talk About Your Hobby

Why not write and talk about your hobby? You could write blog posts explaining to people what it takes to do your hobby like you. You could create YouTube videos showing people how to do certain things or simply talking about your hobby. You could set up a Q&A. Work out who your audience is and how you’re most likely to reach them.

Find Companies to Work With

All entrepreneurs need businesses to work with them and help them bring their dream to life. If you love all things home development and decor, perhaps you could work with somewhere like Amano Homes. It’s unlikely you’ll be able to start your business completely alone, even if you’re just planning on building a website.

Be Prepared to Sell Yourself

If you’re going to turn your hobby into a career, you need to be prepared to sell yourself. Make sure you know how to get people interested in you. Don’t be afraid to give out business cards and make social media pages.

Get serious about turning your hobby into a career and soon you could be making a living out of something you love. It might not take off right away, but with persistence and passion you will be able to make it work. Good luck!

Photo Album and Memory Box

 Family
Like Branches on a tree
we grow in different directions
yet the strength of
our roots keeps
us together.
We went to TJMaxx yesterday  and I found this  photo album.  I love the design and I love the  quote in the front.  This photo albums holds 500 pieces  4/6 photos which I literally have  at home.
So when we came home, I didn't waste time and  arranged all of it  in the album.  I finally finished all the printed ones.  I haven't  printed any photos  in 2015 so that would be my next project.  I have about 30 photo albums already.  MY husband asked me what am I gonna do with it all.  I told him that  it's god to have  them because when the kids are old and we are gone, they can look back to it and say, Wow, we did a lot of family stuff together.
I also bought this memory box.  I thought the design is pretty neat and it's very sturdy which I like.
O stored all the small photo albums in there and some of my daughter's diary.
That's what kept me busy this weekend.  I am glad it is done and I don't have to worry about it anymore.
How about you, do you still print photos?
