Advanced Health and Education

Time really flies! January is halfway gone already, can you believe that? My son has turned 7 years old yesterday and I can still vividly remember when I first held him in my arms how fragile and little he was and now, look how big he is getting, my golly!
I am so blessed that I get to stay at home and witnessed every milestone of my kids life. Having a hands-on to their daily lives is amazing. Motherhood has been the most precious experience that I have in my life. NO high-paying job can replace the time that I spent with my children every day. Even my kids know that. They always thank me for being there for them. They see their classmates who are basically being taken care of by other people while their parents work. They see how it affects how they behave and do things. I am glad that my kids appreciate our presence as their primary care giver.
The love and care that we give them has a deep impact on them. I hope that we could continue to be good parents to them. I mean, we are not perfect (as there is no such thing in parenting or any other things for that matter) but we strive hard to do our best to be there for them. Guiding and teaching our children is a very important role that every parent has. Raising children is a hard job. You can never plan or set things out perfectly. You learned as you go and enjoy your journey with them.
Hubby and I were talking last night how the way children act in public can be a visible reflection of how they are being raised. We both hope that we can live longer so we can guide our children to be good citizens and that they would have a good life to enjoy with their own family in the future. I feel pain for teens that are misguided as they turn to doing bad stuff sometimes. Although there are facilities that can help them such as the Advanced Health and Education, an addiction treatment center in New Jersey. Parents should be proactive in learning the types of addiction conditions, signs and sources of addiction, the dangers and risks from addiction, and the availability of drug addiction treatment centers. Places such as the New Jersey drug abuse treatment centers have been helping people who are battling with certain addiction at their facilities.

I hope and pray to God that my children will be guided and that they won't fall for things like drug abuse. No parent wants to see their children get involve with drugs or drinking.

Teaching the best values in life for the children, education, and other good moral character will be taught at home first before the society in general. Your outlook is good at this point in time. Congratz!

Congrats on a job well done Sis Rose! Motherhood/ Parenting is truly an amazing job because it has no salary, no rest days and we work 24/7. But the joy and the pride it gives to us parents are all worth it especially if we our kids grow up to be good and successful people.

I salute you Sis and all the WHAM out there! Keep up the good work!

It is really important for parents to remind our kids about drug addiction and how it can bring more harm than good. But I commend you for bringing them up so well and I do hope that I can see your kids in the future.. :D

You're very blessed! Being a parent is something I will never get to experience (kakainggit ka :-) ) although, I'm a doting Aunt, does that count? hahaha. Kids nowadays need the kind of guidance only their own parent can give, with them being bombarded with outside influences both good and bad. Your children are indeed very lucky!

I agree with you, parents now should be conscious with everything related to the health of their children, sometimes symptoms and diseases can be so unpredictable.

My kids are all young adults now. Although I can say that I am not yet over that bridge, I make sure I keep an open line of communication with them. I encourage them to share their feelings with me, I ask them how they are, if there is anything funny that happened at school or if anything is causing them anxiety. Children turn to drugs because of peer pressure and feelings of loneliness. If we provide quality time with our kids, they'll never stray away from the right path.

As a mom I now appreciate more my very own mother. She has been a SAHM and her love and care truly is wonderful. It has helped us (my siblings) be the kind of person that we are.

I admire your time management with your family and blogging. I can see they’ll grow up as a good citizen. It’s important for kids to grow up with their parents guiding them (Hands-on). I salute you sis. ^_^

I agree. Our children's behavior towards others is a reflection on how we treat them. My daughter is in the age where she builds strong relationships with friends. My husband and I are very particular with the friends she hangs out with.

Kudos to you for being a responsible parent! I know it's not easy raising kids (grew up in a family of 5) and I've realized that motherhood and child rearing can be very difficult and exhausting. Not everyone has the right mindset and financial stability to raise children, and I'm glad to see you're handling things fine!
