Sweet November

Hello everyone, how is your November kicking in so far?  Mine started on the very first day with a migraine but it's all good, nothing that I could not handle  so it is still a good start.  On the second day , I woke up energized so I  vacuumed  and then me and the kids decided to put up our Christmas Tree.

My husband always  object to this   practice but  I always wins lol.  He wants to put up the tree after Thanksgiving but I beg to disagree since I don't really decorate  for Thanksgiving anyway.  Besides, I want to enjoy  the Christmas decor a little longer as they are a bit hard to  put out you know.
Here's Ms. Holly and Mr. Santa Claus.  The Christmas cactus is perfect to put in the middle and  art work that my son did in  Kindergarten was the  back draft  for the nativity set that my daughter painted last year.  She got this set as a gift from Lola and Lolo Fancher's.
My daughter and son decorated their bookshelf.  My son  was in charged with putting the train set hooks that I bought last year from  Goodwill and my daughter  hanged the  Christmas stockings.
I like decorating for Christmas because the kids are so involved in it.  Below is the Christmas tree that I won from a giveaway and I got the snowman  from Listia.
Here's our  Christmas tree.  The kids hanged so many heavy ornaments on the other side so it is leaning, it is now fixed though.
Now, they always wants to  use their  Christmas stuffed  toys which is fine with me.
Below is the fiber optic Christmas tree that my FIL gave to the kids.  I got a perfect ornaments for it too, I found these mini  ornaments and Listia and luckily won it.
Listia by the way is a website where you can get free stuff, you can auction those things that you don't need or want anymore. You can even get brand new things like iPad, cellphone, TV and everything else. Getting credits to use in bidding is easy, you just have to share some auction into your twitter and Facebook account and you get credits for it. You can also get credits by auctioning your things. You can used your accumulated credits in bidding things that you like. Mind you, I save a lot of money by being a member of Listia. I got my daughter's communion dress brand new from there and I only paid shipping which is really cool. So what are you waiting for, SIGN UP HERE, it is free to sign up  and it is fun!

Great job with the decorating. I am with your husband though and wait until after Thanksgiving. I have Thanksgiving decorations though, otherwise I might be tempted to bring out the Christmas items.

Warly whirly indeed, which my husband always speak. I also used to decorate X'mas decors when the "ber" already started but then one day after my husband my husband kept on bugging me, I decided to decorate after Thanksgiving until the 3rd week of January (I think, or after the 3 Kings celebration/commemoration). I know it's really great to look at it, and I can't blame what you think Manang Rose. :-)

Oh my.. I am with your hubby on this one. I always put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Usually after all the hustle and bustle of Black Friday shopping. It looks wonderful and your kiddos must be thrilled!

the pictures make me more feel like it's very Christmas soon indeed!! Good thing you won over decorating for Christmas before the Thanksgiving! In PH, people really like to decorate for Christmas earlier that even now, in our office, the Christmas party is already planned and we also have our Christmas tree up already!!
