Splash of Colors

Last Sunday, Ms. Burrito was watching  Youtube videos via our television as I was working on my PC.  She  loves watching arts and crafts and  anything that has to do with Science.  She saw this one that she absolutely love and she  immediately asked me if we could do it.

What you need is  milk, food coloring,  a q-tip or cotton bud, and a dish washing liquid.  Here's how.

  • Pour  some milk in a wide plate.
  • drop some food coloring anywhere  you want in the milk.
  • Put a small amount of dish washing liquid in the q-tip and  dip it in the milk.

Look how beautiful it turn out and you can also make a design by moving the q-tip around.  She tried to make a face of a dog on the third picture, can you see it?
This is so much fun to do with kids, even I was entertained!

Awww so cute! At first I did not see the dog's face-- it's a lot clearer in the last two photos. What a colorful experiment! I should try it sometime with the kids.

This sounds like a fun project. I like the way we can use things like YouTube and Pinterest to find great activities for our kids.
