One Room Schools

We spent our weekend at Hanover Park.  We attended a birthday party of one of Mr. Burrito's  classmates.  I took some photos of the neat displays at the park.
This sign contradicts the  one room schools I posted  at the bottom.

Preserving  the memories of One Room Schools they used back in time.
My father-in-law told us stories about the one room schools back in the day. He said it was very common  in the olden days for the students in elementary to met in one room with one teacher   teaching basic academic stuff.  He said that this was not only practiced in  the US but also in Canada, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, and  in Spain.

I wasn't able to take a photo of the covered bridge because there was a wedding there at that time.

Looks like one really fun and interesting place to explore mommy. When we were at the High Plains in Nebraska, they had that old one room school too and it was really neat. It is amazing to learn something from the past.
