Marriage Blooms

Tomorrow marks  the day my husband and I tied the knot.  It's been ten years so let me walk you though those years  through the flowers blooming in my garden.
September 2002 when a sailor found my profile online,
a brief message was sent before his account expires.
The sailor  was disappointed that  the message got no reply
But surprised and glad  that after two days, he got the "HI!" back.
March 2003, after  numerous emails, phone conversations, and chat time online
the sailor came to see the  lady for the first time in person
Right there and then they knew
THEY were meant to be for each other

He came back  in August and they tied the knot.
October 2004, the sailor now husband decided to  gave his wife a nice wedding ceremony in church.
The bride  walked down the aisle  with so much joy in her  heart
The groom waited at the altar  for his bride
Together, they received the holy blessing.
2005 was another  great year, the bride finally joined the husband in the US
She was 7 months preggy this time, at last after  two years of  waiting, she was able to come
two months after her arrival, the first baby was born in July.
2006, the husband and wife bought their  family home
Life with a baby girl just completes them
2007, another bundle of joy was born
the husband and wife has now two angels.
2008, the family   moved to Korea for the sailor's last tour from the Navy
Another place, another adventure, another great memories.
2009, the children was able to meet their Mom's family in the Philippines for the first time.
At the end of this year,  the family moved back to the US.
The sailor, having  newly retired from the service,
decided to go back to school.
2010, our first born has started school, oh how time flies.
2011, a tremendous lost of a family member shook us all
Daughter is now in first grade on this year.
2012, Our son started  kindergarten, another milestone
The  veteran  sailor has graduated from school
Started a new career at Industrial Scientific.

The cluster of flowers represents the years, all the happiness, and all the sweat and tears.  It also reminds us that no matter what happen as long as you have respect, trust, dedication, and love for your family,  marriage will be strong.  Marriage blooms through the years if you know how to nurture it.
I hope and pray that even when we are  old and gray, we will still be  together and still in-love.
In God's grace, may YOU and ME  continue to cherish and nurture the
LOVE, CARE, RESPECT, and TRUST that we have for each other.
Here's to 10 years of blissful marriage!
