Pet Care

Having pet at home is like having kids.  You  feed them, teach them, bathe them, and take care of them all the time.  In return, they give you  love and affection too.  My kids love pets as much as we do, I think that  it is a good  practice for them to show their care to animals.  Our Jack Russel  Terrier, Champ, is a fun and loving dog.  He's been with us since he was a pup so we treat him like one of our kids.

PhotoBin

Are you a photo addict just   like me? As you can see in every post I made in my blogs, there are photos  all the time.  Capturing every little moment of my kids is my  happiness.  I really want to document their  growth so that when hubby and I are not around anymore, they will remember every little details that we did as a family.  Before I discover blogging, I always have all the photos  printed and put them in the albums but now I just  post most of it  my websites.  The only problem I have is the storage capacity of my  computer, I know that  when this PC crashes, all my photos will be gone too.

I am just glad that every photos I uploaded in my blogs are being saved in my online storage plan.  The rate is very affordable and I am glad I have it, it ensures saving all my photos.  I also found  a website called Photobin where you can scan all your photos and saved it.  Photobin provided services such as conversion of video to dvd and photo scanning.  This is advantageous  especially if you are a traveler  because you can  open up your  files and see all your photos.  You can access it anytime, anywhere.  It's also a great way to share photos to your friends and families.

Tomato Seedlings

Our neighbor grow different kinds of tomato seedlings. They gave us some to plant in our garden.  They also gave us four kinds of peppers, hot and sweet!
They gave us four kinds, the beef steak, roma, rutgers, and giant belgians.

Hold Me

Looking at the branches reaching out for each other reminds me of acrobatic show.  "Hold me" is a good way to  describe  this.

Finding cheap Algarve holidays

The Algarve is comfortably the best known and most popular holiday destination in Portugal and with so many excellent beaches and hotel resorts along its magnificent coastline it isn't difficult to understand why. The good news for anyone considering a trip to what is an effortlessly attractive part of southern Europe is that there are now any number of cheap Algarve holidays to choose from.

All your bases are covered in terms of the variety of accommodation of course, with families, couples, individuals and groups of friends all very readily accounted for. So if you have a leisurely few weeks with someone special in mind or you're travelling with a group of energetic and hard to please children, you shouldn't have much trouble finding just the right package deal.

(picture not mine)
The trick, if there is one, to tracking down the best offers on holidays to the Algarve area of southern Portugal is simply to head online, carry out a basic search and tap your stipulations into the relevant internet search engines. The more precise and accurate you can be about what you want from your upcoming getaway the more likely you are to find it and you might be surprised by just how much holiday you can get for your money this year.

As you may already know, the Algarve is genuinely one of the real gems of Europe from a tourist perspective and it is widely regarded as being the jewel in the crown for Portugal, which of course has plenty of other highly recommended holiday hotspots. Thomas Cook package holidays offer arguably the best and most reliable value you're likely to find when it comes to booking a trip anywhere in southern Europe and in the Algarve itself.

Stigma

We don't have peony in the Philippines so when I first saw it here in the States, I immediately fall in love with it.  I told myself that I would have this in my garden for sure.  I started out with one  and now I have four.
When the beautiful  flower  petals of the  peony fell, this  is what it looks like.
This is what  clematis looks like  when the petals of the flower fell down.  It still holds beauty right?  It is more beautiful when those stuff (stigma, style, filament, anther, etc)  dried out.

Our Satellite is Back

Last January, the cost of  our satellite bill went up, so we decided to  switch to a local cable provider here in our area.  It was nice at  first, the programming  is good and the price is within our budget but after a couple of months, we started  having problems with the box.  It kept hanging so after a couple of times   that we reported the case and   the services still the same, we decided to switch back to direct tv. We are enjoying a low rate  right now which they gave us for 12 months.

The good thing is that, there are places like dx3 website where you can find good deals on satellite programming from DirecTV.  The dx3 direct tv deals  helps  customers like us to find the best package that would suit our budget.  My kids  love DirecTV because  they can record their favorite  shows and watch it anytime with their convenient.  That's one  of the few reasons why we  came back to  having a satellite connection rather than a cable.  See, if just me and my husband, Internet is enough for us to  satisfy our entertainment but when you have kids, it is important that  you have TV programming that you can rely on to  entertain them.

Orange Red

I took some shots of this beautiful flowering plant at my neighbor's yard.  I don't know it's name though.  I love the combination of orange and red color of the flowers.

Weeds?

I saw this when we went for a walk a a nearby football field. I am not sure if it's a plant or a weed but I think that it is too pretty for a weed.

Armor's Extreme Shield Wax

Our Honda Accord will be seven years old  in a couple  of months but I can say that   it still running like new.    The only major repair that we did with it is when I  miscalculated the bump on a hill and damaged my bumper.  It was not an expensive  repair  because we only bought the material needed and  Dave (he was still around then) just  install it for us.  We really missed Dave when it comes to automotive stuff.   We also had a couple of  crack on the windshield because of  rocks that flew from the truck ahead of us.  Other than that, our car was in pretty much condition.

One of the products that  is good in  maintaining  a vehicle is the  Extreme Shield Wax from Armor All.  You can apply it to your car effortlessly with no hazing.  It is safe to apply on all automotive finishes.  It leaves no residue on plastic  and can also be applied on direct sunlight.    This would leave a bright and long lasting shine on your car.  You may check out Armor All in Facebook and like it to enter  their   awesome sweepstakes called "What Life did to your Car".  This sweepstakes will give you a chance to win the hot Camaro signed by Tony Stewart, one of the most famous car racers in the world.  So do not let this chance pass,  visit the  link and enter now.

The road can be very tough on your vehicle so having  it protected  by  product like the one I mentioned above, your vehicle  can last for a long time  which eventually  save you money. I always believe that when you take care of your stuff, it  will also take care of you!

Shell Casing

These are the shell casings that we recovered from the ground when we test fired last Sunday. My daughter and I used my father-in-law's 25, it was a way little thing. I did not have the courage to use my husband's 45 lol.  It was fun  and I am glad I tried, I think I passed my fear of firing a gun.

Western Purses and More

Looking at the selection of purses at  Western Express website makes me think of horses and  Texas.    There are  super cool designs of leather purses at the above mentioned site and  I like most of them.  Below is the  one that I really like, it is a leather saddle  in burgundy color.  It would be a cool   one to bring when you are    wearing boots.  The website offers  Wholesale Western Purses and wholesale blankets and  ponchos.  You can also find  leather belts, belt buckles and a lot more.

Western Express, inc., also has different kinds of  blings and accessories including copper jewelry.  They even have  different cool products for kids.  I bet my daughter would love this pink faux felt cowboy hat.  Isn't it so cute?    So guys if you are  into western fashion, saddle up and  head on the the website I have mentioned above.  Just visit any of the links provided in this post and  you will see different kinds of cool stuff.

Gardening in South Korea

This was originally post at my 'Consumer's Point of View' blog on April 9, 2009 when we were still living in South Korea.

The weather was very nice the other day, so I was out  cleaning up the dead branches of my flowers while my two children are playing with their bikes. Some of my plants are already coming back up to life especially my roses.  Our free flowers will be given next week so I have to get my garden ready.

My husband will be very busy again in mowing and edging the lawn.  He kind of wishes that he brought our weed wacker here because the one they supplied to us is old and difficult to start.

I miss our life back in Korea, we had so much fun memories  there  and I wish that we could go back someday.

EYE in the Sky

Let me share this quote by Robert Ballard.
"Almost a quarter of our planet is a single mountain range and we didn't enter it until after Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin went to the moon. So we went to the moon, played golf up there, before we went to the largest feature on our own planet."
The moon looks like an  eye, doesn't it?
