Hail

Last week, our weather was like summer but this week, we had hail.  It's crazy but am not complaining hehehe.  It was fun actually watching the hail fall from our trampoline.

Hyacinth

I looked for a quote for Hyacinth but did not find one but rather it's definition from Brainy Quote.
"A bulbous plant of the genus Hyacinthus, bearing beautiful spikes of fragrant flowers. H. orientalis is a common variety.
A plant of the genus Camassia (C. Farseri), called also Eastern camass; wild hyacinth.   The name also given to Scilla Peruviana, a Mediterranean plant, one variety of which produces white, and another blue, flowers; -- called also, from a mistake as to its origin, Hyacinth of Peru.   A red variety of zircon, sometimes used as a gem. See Zircon."

A Lion's Roar

Our Gardener

A clear sky like this means only one thing, outdoor time. All of us are out enjoying the beautiful day gardening, chasing each other, playing, and taking a family walk in the neighborhood.

My wife and daughter love taking out the weeds from their flowers and the little man wants to help too.
He is our new gardener..

See how hardworking he is..
I love his expression in here lol..
When he got done watering the plants, he picked this rose bud and gave it to his Mom.

Simple gestures with deep meaning. LOVE is in our son's heart!

this post was originally published on September 25, 2009 when we were still in Korea.

Korean Souvenir

We bought this wall fan in South Korea a couple of years ago when we were still living there.  I am glad that the  movers let me keep it and brought it here.

Magnets

We have a stainless refrigerator so the sides are the only magnetic ones. It is messy but we love to put our notes  and other stuff that reminds us of things.

Ten Commandment Coins

We found these two "Ten Commandment Coins" when we went for a family walk at Marland Heights weeks ago.  We found one first  and  Ms. Burrito took it, so the other Burrito was crying  because he did not have one.  When we were  going home, we found another one in a different location.

Finding Beauty

Find beauty not only in the thing itself but in the pattern of the shadows, the light and dark which that thing provides.

Crossword Companion Luminator

Here are the raffle draw prizes that Ms. Burrito won  over at H&R Block.   She entered her name  to a raffle draw when we   have our taxes done  at  H&R Block and she luckily won.  She love the crossword  puzzle luminator.

Oriental Art

The  picture  might contradict the quote but I like to put them together"  Opposite attracts right?

"Always live in the ugliest house on the street - then you don't have to look at it. ...
of course never paint them in pictures, oriental art never deals with shadow."
