Wild Berries

These wild berries that were hanging at my sister-in-law's   fence  grabbed my attention.  I love their  pink vine and it is just so beautiful to look at against the luscious green  and  black color of the fruits.

That is an interesting shot. Never saw a pink stem on berries before.

This looks like polk weed...ever hear the song Polk Salad Annie? While the young leaves can be fixed similar to turnip greens the plant is toxic.
This is a great photo ...love the pink stem :)

Happy Pink Saturday. Thank you for making Pink Saturdays special. I appreciate your friendship and support.♥

The berries are so pretty. Are they edible?

Hello everyone, I don't think the berries are edible. You may read what Francie had wrote above. She is right, the berrie is called polk weed, it is an ornamental plant but not edible.

Love this shadow shot. The leaves made awesome shadows on the fence. While the berries are interesting, you do not want to eat them!

Very interesting photos. I have never seen pink stems on berries before. What kind of berries are these? Love the shadows. Interesting play of light as well.
