Stigma

We don't have peony in the Philippines so when I first saw it here in the States, I immediately fall in love with it.  I told myself that I would have this in my garden for sure.  I started out with one  and now I have four.
When the beautiful  flower  petals of the  peony fell, this  is what it looks like.
This is what  clematis looks like  when the petals of the flower fell down.  It still holds beauty right?  It is more beautiful when those stuff (stigma, style, filament, anther, etc)  dried out.

it's still pretty as it fades.

Both the peony and the clematis are still very beautiful even without the petals. Sometimes we forget to look once the bloom is gone.

Beauty even after the petals have dropped off.
