Joy in Small Things

This pretty little critter might be small but it brings so much joy to us especially to our daughter. She love to observe them hopping from one flower to the other.
Do you see the  ant  crawling under one of the petals of the lily?
I am not good in distinguishing critters so I am not sure if this is a  baby butterfly, a moth, or what?

Hi there - can’t name your insects - but can narrow it down a bit - the first picture is of a moth, and the second one is a butterfly.
(Moths don’t tend to shut their wings upwards across their bodies, but butterflies do!)

Hope this snippet was of some value!

My late visit, Rose.
Love your shots :)
I seldom capture butterflies, they often fly before I can take pictures of them.

I thought it is some kind of a moth coz it has flat wings but in your last picture it looks like a butterfly coz its wings are standing up. I don't know the specific kind of butterfly it is, but it sure is fun to see those in the gardens.
