Have a great weekend everyone!

Getting Longer and Bigger

After I shoveled the snow at our drive way this morning, I decided to removed some of the icicles that are getting so long because I am worried that it will damage the gutter of our house. These photos were taken the day after the first snow storm and they got bigger and longer.
I hope that this will end soon. I feel bad for those who got hit hard and lost their electric. Imagine how agonizing is that especially if you have little kids.
How is the weather at your side of the world?

Doctor's Appointment

My wife and I had our doctor's appointment yesterday morning. She consulted our family physician with her constant migrain and I consulted him with my heart condition since I had that abnormalities again which I suffered back when I was in Korea. The doctors in Korea said that it wasn't a heart attack, my sister who is a nurse said that it might be my gall bladder. Since my MRI was normal, the doctor did not find anything wrong. However when our physician ran an EKG on me, it is my heart that has a problem.

After our check up, we dropped by at the pharmacy to buy Rose's prescription and I met an old friend that I haven't seen for almost 20 years. While waiting for the meds, my wife called me at the card section and showed me this birthday card. The message was awesome so she let me read it and said "Okay, I don't have to buy it anymore since you already see/read it". We were both laughing and I said "Okay, take a picture of me so I won't forget that you got me a card" lol.
Then on the way home, we dropped by at Dominos Pizza and bought some take out to bring to Dad and kids. Rose won't pass this red and blue color without snapping some photos lol.
My wife while we were waiting for the pizza.

It's nice that some of the business establishments put sanitizer but look at the dust on the lamp. Opps.
Hope you guys will have a wonderful Valentine's celebration.

Snow so Deep

I have never seen snow this deep since I was very little. I was told by my neighbor that it was worse in 1997 when a blizzard hit the area, but I was basking in the sun in Guam in 1997 and missed all of the fun. It took me about 2 hours to shovel the front walk, driveway, stairs, front porch, back porch, and the patio. This snow was wet and heavy and after moving about 5 tons of it, my back is sore.

My daughter (aka my little helper) always wants to help me whenever I shovel the snow. She loves playing in the snow too. We were going to make an igloo today but the temperature outside is around 10 degrees f. Once it warms a little, we will begin our project. She had a lot of fun playing with Champ.
It's always a treat to see our dog jump into the snow and completely disappear. Being a Jack Russell, he is good at digging and tunneling and has little problem getting out. He did manage to lose a couple his "baby teeth" trying to grab the shovel while I was slinging snow.

Saving Vacation, One Rental at a Time

It seems that the practical way of saving money during vacation is to get a vacation rental rather than staying in a hotel. Yup, it is the practical way of saving for your vacation especially if its the whole family that is going. The great advantage about vacation rental is that you get to enjoy the amenities of a real home while you are on your vacation. Most of the time, you can find a home for rent that allows you to bring your lovely pets, you seldom see that in a hotel.

As I have mentioned in my previous post, my wife and I is planning to have a family vacation this summer and we will encourage my sister and her family to go with us. We can just rent a home and it would be much cheaper because we can cook our own food and the cost would be a lot cheaper.

Pink Sky

When I came home from school last Tuesday, my wife asked me to get the mail from oir mailbox. When I came out the door I saw this beautiful color sky. It's a combination of blue and pink and some looks purple. Here are some snaps I took. Enjoy them, just click the picture to enlarge it.

Isn't God amazing?

Our Mini Date

Oppps did I got you with the my title? Well, it's not really a date. We went to Baltimore to pick up our vehicle that was shipped from Korea. My wife called it a date though hehehe.

Anyhow, here are some photos. The first one is at Pittsburgh Airport while waiting for our flight.

This one is at Cleveland Airport.

The father of this little girl was busy talking on the cellphone and I think that she wanted to play so rose was playing peekaboo with her and she also took a couple of photos of her.
Have a great week everyone!
