Fall Colors

We're pretty busy here with our upcoming move but I am posting these photos that my wife took. For the last week that we have our car we drove around and just take pictures of what please our eyes. I did the driving and my wife did taking photos. Most of them though have the window car's reflection.

Nature's Beauty

It is getting very cold over here in Korea. It is like we only got a week of Fall then it jumped into winter weather. But anyhow, we drove to Daegu last weekend just to enjoy the scenery one last time before we ship our car next Monday. We will be leaving in 14 days and we want to get as much pictures as a remembrance as we could so we could look back and say "We were once in the Land of the Morning Calm."

Here are some of the photos that my wife took as I drove going to another City.
This is in Changwon bridge. The small island there looks great.
The beautiful colors of the fall. You may check out some of the photos at my wife's blog.

One place, two different views

My Rose took these photos when we went for a walk last weekend by the elementary school. The first two photos with clear sky was taken on Saturday while the last one with a cloudy sky was taken Sunday after we attended mass at the church.

We will miss this view!

Whaleshark Adventure

These photos were taken when we first visited my wife's family in the Philippines. In the island where whale sharks are plenty, in Donsol, Sorsogon. We decided to celebrate my son and I's birthday together there with a bonus of swimming with the whale shark. Whale sharks are very friendly and you can ride on their back while they swim. Please click the photo to enlarge.

Personal Finances

Managing money in today's marketplace can be challenging. For a sailors like me, frequent deployments, separation from extended families, numerous moves and anticipated emergencies drain the resources of military families. In the navy, there are trained personal financial fitness coaches that help us analyze our finances which is pretty good especially for a spender person like me, good thing that my wife is very good in managing our finances. Those coaches help us set priorities in order for us to focus on what need to be paid first and eliminate those that we don't really need. They also create spending plans and make our money work as hard as we do.

Enjoying the park for the last time

My wife took these photos last weekend when they were waiting for me to get home. I don't know why the color of the slide turned yellow. My guess was the flash.

FUN...FUN...FUN

This is the real color of the slide.
Our son wouldn't smile in front of the camera unless you'd chase him.

See, playing peekaboo.
Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

When I see you Smile

On behalf of our entire family, I'd like to extend our sincerest thanks for the strong support we received from all of our friends in the blogging world. With so many gorgeous smiles, the competition was really fierce. I always find it extremely difficult to vote when there are children involved. All children are winners at the end of the day, regardless of what the polls say. Rylie is very fortunate indeed. She won, not only for her beautiful smile, but for the prayers and strong commitment of all of her friends that followed the contest till the end. God bless you all.

Mellow Weekend

How's your weekend folks? It's cloudy and chilly over here and we also have thunder storm. But anyhow, we spend our day by going to church then we socialize a little bit after the mass then we went home.

This is the nursery room adjacent to the chapel inside the base. The kids usually plays here while me and my wife attend the mass. Today, they get along so well with the Puerto Rican kids.

Our kids love this pretty Korean. Her name is Inna, she always plays with Rylie and EJ.

Usually EJ is pretty aloof with the camera but with Inna, he is pretty sport.
